+Bruce Wayne I for one can vouch that Kurt is one of the best people you will ever meet. Always helping anyone that needs it. When his shop caught fire a few years back, there were too many people willing to help clean up the rubble. Anyone that knows him can't say enough about how great he is.
Best episode yet. You actually showcased some trails, instead of the off-roading being an afterthought. I accept the reasoning in the video for not hitting trails all the time, it is nice to see the episode focused on the trail and not a border crossing.

Loving this season! Thank you so much for showing what it means to off-road responsibly: asking permission from land owners and only moving debris that NEEDS moved. Clay, I agree on the all-terrains. I've run both AT's and mud terrains over the same obstacles, in varying and same conditions, in different seasons even, and what you said about having the right tools is spot on. With the right tools a good set of all terrains is all you need. Speaking of being spot on, Kurt, great job on showing how a good spotter is just that, a GOOD spotter. Clear, knowledgeable directions, only one person giving those directions, and having the driver's full attention. Keep it up guys!

You guys know how to end an episode. Great off road sections, trail clearing, jungle setting, camp locations, use of technical equipment, and getting unusual local access. You probably couldn't pay even the best guide service for this kind of access and experience. Thanks.

Costa is the greatest place that I have had the pleasure of traveling to. Have spent time in Tama and Jaco and they are both amazing. The people, the food, and the scenery are all spectacular! Looking forward to exploring more in the future! Pura Vida mae!

Awesome!! I have a soft spot for Costa Rica and their people. I love taking my family there and while not overlanding, we do plenty of traveling from the carribean to pacific. Feels like I'm in Jurassic park! 8k lbs on the Tacoma?!! That's crazy My aev ram comes in at 7800lbs unloaded. I can't imagine having that much weight on a little Tacoma, impressive!

I've wheeled that area a couple of times in the past, not totally sure, but I think that the bridge on minute 27 took care of the steering box in my 99 4runner when I tried to cross it and the bridge broke. Nice to see our stomping grounds in such beautiful footage!

I've done that trail. , great to know you are having great time in Costa Rica,for sure better times than other countries in Central America. That trail is call "Trocha" not much winching places but its fun ,I sleeped right there where you guys did. Nice to know Adrian took you to some nature and adventure places in this non-army country.

It's what I use on my Landcruiser everyday and on massive 4x4 trips here in Australia, I go to some very remote places and I wouldn't feel safe with a AT tyre, an MT tyre is so much better in all terrains even sand if it's a good tyre. A good quality mud terrain can be just as quiet as a AT tyre, some even more so. They wear just as good and ride quality is better over rough terrain from bad roads to dirt roads. I run Nitto trail grapplers one of the best mud tyres I've had.

The Grand Cherokee is a car. The 4Runner is a truck! Off-road there is no comparison.

I was just watching this episode and googled the GVWR of a 2013 Taco.. 4650-5500 lbs.. :)
My jaw dropped when they said how much that truck weighed. Just weighed my 3rd gen last weekend @ 4980lbs. They’ve got it LOADED!
