I love lux handbags but I have never cared for this particular style. It always looked way too structured for my taste and the handles just seemed so rigid and uncomfortable BUT I did watch this entire video and the craftsmanship is remarkable. Hi, I got my bag from a re-seller. It looks exactly like a real bag. The seller also had a lot of other original clothes, shoes and bags. However, mine is missing the leather tag on the charms. Mine is red patent leather. However the inside has fabric with the Dior logo. However, the diamonds are the exact saame number, the dome shaped studs on the bottom, the charms connected with figure eights, the zipper. Is it possible to still be real?

Hi Emma, I just purchased a Lady Dior medium from Christian Dior online store. My Lady Dior is a matted leather handbag and not pearlescent like yours is. Does CD sell matted lambskin that are not the ABC Lady Dior?
Prior to buying a pre-loved Lady Dior I watched this video. Thank you it was very informative. However it is worth noting that if buying a vintage Dior not all those rules apply. The leather label where the charms are can say more than just Christian Dior. The bag I purchased was from 2008 and said “Christian Dior Paris Made in Italy”. This made me think it was a fake. However I have had the bag authenticated by Dior and it is a genuine Dior. Therefore some genuine vintage Lady Dior bags will differ from your advice.

I refused to buy pre-loved because I heard too many horror stories, so I purchased mine from the same store as you. The staff are lovely and Its a wonderful experience, however I felt a little sick that I had just spent that amount on a bag! But it was so worth it as I love it to bits and it’s nice to dress them up too using the Scarfs. I purchased a crossiere last week, which is absolutely gorgeous and I’ll be visiting the store again on Friday xx

How are lower priced items on eBay authenticated? On most resale sites, anything priced over a certain amount (like $300 on Poshmark) is automatically authenticated. There is this girl on youtube that shows a lady dior that is clearly fake. It's very floppy and the charms are weird (the O is small and without that leather piece). In addition, it neither has zip nor flap closure. It just boggles my mind that no one pointed it out. Great guide BTW! 🤩

I got mine preloved from fashionphile and I checked every single detail with you. I even got the swan dust bag. EVERYTHING is on point and exactly like yours, EXCEPT it's made in France. 🤔. What should I do? And the authenticity card says it was sold in Barcelona in 2018.

I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

I'm buying a fake one on purpose, like ik it's fake and still buying it because I can't afford the real one yettttt but I love the design of it I'm obsessed with it so I'm buying it and it's $100, even the fake one it's expensive. Have you had problem like this? it is really idsappointing since i bought it 5 days ago and never used it. also i wonder if you could do any wear and tear review on the leather? since i noticed mine has a bit scratch around the corner... almost like the stitching was too tight and made the leather scratched.. :(
U can take it back to the store and they will charge u to send it out to get fixed but if it’s ur Bby u should the same style seems to be the it for Dior ❤️❤️

Lady Dior’s prior to 2000 had Christian Dior made wherever on the tab behind the O charm. My nylon Lady Dior from 1997 has Christian Dior Paris Made in Italy on it :)

Great video with useful information. My lady Dior did not come with a swan dust bag. I remember being a tad disappointed when I unboxed at home. Mainly because I assumed all Lady Dior’s would come with one but also I worried in case it would deem to be fake if I ever did want to sell. It is highly unlikely that I would ever sell but you have put my mind at rest now that they don’t always come with the swan dust bag and mine wasn’t just an oversight.
Deborah Wild Only the classic Dior come with the swan dustbag (black, red, nude). The other colors will come in the Dior dustbag. I purchased a seasonal Lady Dior in mineral blue and because it was my First Lady Dior the SA gifted me a swan dustbag. Nice touch I thought.

Yeah I actually saw an unboxing of a fake Lady Dior on UA-cam and I felt bad for the girl cuz she was so excited about it. I didn’t say anything. If she thinks it’s real I guess that’s fine. But she got it for a cheap price on eBay which is a dead giveaway usually but the bag itself was fake. Sad. People who sell fakes should be thrown in jail.
I bought the real door bag and paid £3700 for black mat finishing medium. Then I found a page where they were selling the fake bags and it was the exact same copy so I returned the original bag and now got the fake copy and I took the close videos and pictures of original and I couldn’t spot a difference. The people who making a fake copy of vintage lady dior is very genuine. All the spots you mentioned including the screws was there on the fake one . Sorry the points you mentioned are all there on fake bags . So I rather buy fake which is the exact copy of original specially after owning the original I went for fake . Just to let you know that the lady Dior are made in France now as I purchased mine from harrods and mine is made in France. I double checked this with the Dior manager there and she confirmed this. They've also changed the serial numbers now.

As far as color goes, the fake COPYMAXY here looks more vivid, clear and clean! I can't tell the difference anyway, probably because I'm dumb and I'll never be able to buy and own it! Haha
Beautiful bags and very helpful information. Just a word of caution about leaving the plastic film on the hardware. The film is there to protect the metal work from scratching during shipment and should be removed, especially if you live in a humid climate and get lots of rain. Moisture can get under the film and cause discoloration. I don't own a Dior bag (tempted though!) but was told this by Hermes. They were adamant that I remove the plastic!
The thing about the charm it's absolutely ridiculous! All Lady Dior Handbags from 2006 to 2012 comes with Christian Dior Paris and where it's made. If you don't know the true information don't spread fake news!

My master copy is exactly like the authentic bag. The stitching is the same, hardware is the same, inside lining the same, came with a twilly that also look authentic. My wrapping exactly the same. It’s not coded in the inside, however, I don’t mind wearing a quality fake bag. I paid $135 and I’m ok with it. 😂.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with counterfeit fashion items, as long as they are not fragrances, and as long as they sell for significantly less than the actual items from the manufacturers in question. #HiDups bags are great. Prices are all around $200.

There is this girl on youtube that shows a lady dior that is clearly fake. It's very floppy and the charms are weird (the O is small and without that leather piece). In addition, it neither has zip nor flap closure. It just boggles my mind that no one pointed it out.

And the authenticity card says it was sold in Barcelona in 2018.

I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences
Can I ask why you said there shouldn’t be a made in stamp on the back of the O? I am trying to be a pre loved and it has a made in Italy stamp on it. They are saying it authentic. I'm buying a fake one on purpose, like ik it's fake and still buying it because I can't afford the real one yettttt but I love the design of it I'm obsessed with it so I'm buying it and it's $100, even the fake one it's expensive. The only difference I am seeing is that how the charms attached the fake one I'm buying has 1 loop connecting the charms and the big hoop that is attached to the handle.

I replied them saying no it's not because who would brag about fake ones lol. If it was real ofc I would😂. hey Emma, i recently bought a my lady dior and i noticed one stitching was falling off. Have you had problem like this? it is really idsappointing since i bought it 5 days ago and never used it. also i wonder if you could do any wear and tear review on the leather? since i noticed mine has a bit scratch around the corner... almost like the stitching was too tight and made the leather scratched.. :(

Lady Dior’s prior to 2000 had Christian Dior made wherever on the tab behind the O charm. My nylon Lady Dior from 1997 has Christian Dior Paris Made in Italy on it :)

Great video with useful information. My lady Dior did not come with a swan dust bag. I remember being a tad disappointed when I unboxed at home. Mainly because I assumed all Lady Dior’s would come with one but also I worried in case it would deem to be fake if I ever did want to sell. It is highly unlikely that I would ever sell but you have put my mind at rest now that they don’t always come with the swan dust bag and mine wasn’t just an oversight.

Deborah Wild Only the classic Dior come with the swan dustbag (black, red, nude). The other colors will come in the Dior dustbag. I purchased a seasonal Lady Dior in mineral blue and because it was my First Lady Dior the SA gifted me a swan dustbag. Nice touch I thought.

Yeah I actually saw an unboxing of a fake Lady Dior on UA-cam and I felt bad for the girl cuz she was so excited about it. I didn’t say anything. If she thinks it’s real I guess that’s fine. But she got it for a cheap price on eBay which is a dead giveaway usually but the bag itself was fake. Sad. People who sell fakes should be thrown in jail.

I bought the real door bag and paid £3700 for black mat finishing medium. Then I found a page where they were selling the fake bags and it was the exact same copy so I returned the original bag and now got the fake copy and I took the close videos and pictures of original and I couldn’t spot a difference. The people who making a fake copy of vintage lady dior is very genuine. All the spots you mentioned including the screws was there on the fake one . Sorry the points you mentioned are all there on fake bags . So I rather buy fake which is the exact copy of original specially after owning the original I went for fake . Thank you for the effort but after watching this video I know one thing that no one will spot that I carry the fake one lol

Just to let you know that the lady Dior are made in France now as I purchased mine from harrods and mine is made in France. I double checked this with the Dior manager there and she confirmed this. They've also changed the serial numbers now.

As far as color goes, the fake COPYMAXY here looks more vivid, clear and clean! I can't tell the difference anyway, probably because I'm dumb and I'll never be able to buy and own it! Haha
Beautiful bags and very helpful information. Just a word of caution about leaving the plastic film on the hardware. The film is there to protect the metal work from scratching during shipment and should be removed, especially if you live in a humid climate and get lots of rain. Moisture can get under the film and cause discoloration. I don't own a Dior bag (tempted though!) but was told this by Hermes. They were adamant that I remove the plastic!

My master copy is exactly like the authentic bag. The stitching is the same, hardware is the same, inside lining the same, came with a twilly that also look authentic. My wrapping exactly the same.
