But this guys is doing the right thing not having to worry about rent would give him a chance to get back on his feet sooner, if he spend wisely and save his money! Good luck to him and may god bless him abundantly with what he needs to get back on his feet. I would have love to have him tell us where he find safe places to park his van and sleep!
Something is very wrong when a guy has to work two jobs and still can't afford a house. It's different if van life is a choice but not if your forced into it. Good luck to you x
Bro here in New York if the Rent is $2500 you Need to make 40x of the rent which is $100.000 then u need to prove it by your tax return it is not done then u need to prove your credit score it has to be over 700 bla bla bla it’s hard to rent a home in Nyc, including me and my fellas are homeless at the moment, we have job making money but it’s not enough to rent an apartment, only thing u can do is 2-3 people become together and apply to 2-3 bedrooms apartment and live , but after 39 years old it’s hard to live with roommates either , fucking capitalism man ,
I was kicked out of the place I was living by my brother just because he felt like it. I ended up selling my Jeep and buying a Toyota 4Runner and a 21 foot travel trailer. I did that six months ago. I was taking 75 Xanax a month and on antidepressant medication. Three weeks into my journey I stopped taking all medications that dealt with depression and anxiety. Waking up to views in the mornings of mountains and valleys and the peace and quiet has been a blessing I never even knew existed. It’s just me and my German Shepherd and we are living our best life now… and not paying $2000 a month for rent! You got this brother!
What are you doing about insurance? I want to do the same thing but am worried about an accident without insurance… if I’m hit and seriously injured by someone else without insurance,… 😳
In my early 20's I was also homeless for a while but always held a job. I owned a bike, small tent, and mobile phone. Local parks served as safe locations where I could camp and take bird baths. Ofcourse I had to conceal as not to call attention to myself from the locals or more importantly others willing to do harm. I am a home owner now, am married, and have children of my own but every time I see someone down on their luck who really is trying to survive I reach out in some way to let them know that I see you, and feel for you, I was once you!
But maybe you have another mentallity, reading your story!! You did it, and was able to restore your life... Here, looking at this man, I think there is something else behind the story! At least you can organize your life, and organize the van you are living in... Working as this man sais, and not having to pay any rent, there must be left some small money, to build in a nice, comfi livingplace.. Instead of this what he is showing... Sometimes somebody is not curable is my opinion...
@@leninha5549 Your right, I was on the streets because of my own stubbornness and issues with my family. I thank God I wasn't battling with drugs or alcohol or mental issues. People, some of them strangers were willing to help me and that made all the difference in the world. You all have to do your part. Nothing will change if you don't do the hard work to change it. I do feel for this man and what he's going through.
Who says we're down on our luck? You're on the hamster wheel, giving your $$$ away every month. I love this life I'm living, and I'm a 67 yo lady veteran living in her Camry Condo.
It sucks when you are forced into the nomadic lifestyle. It's not easy, financially and mentally. But I can promise you it's not as bad as people make it out to be. You have a roof over your head without the stress of worrying about rent, and you have freedom most importantly. You start that engine, and the world is yours. And even though the whole world is telling you "gas is expensive right now", remember you are not driving 24/7. Later on you're not even going to be driving every week. In a couple of months, you'll sit there and think WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER!! Best lifestyle change you'll ever make. It allows you to take a breather. Just to find some peace, away from the constant stress life hands us.
Exactly I live in my van and I work I'll tell u one thing I save a HUGE amount of money just staying at campgrounds as high as rent is and it's just me u know so
@@michelle3583 I agree with you. I still live in a house, but I'm sure I would spend less gas living in my car than going to and from work every day. I would not pay rent, I would force myself to do more physical exercise and to have my two dogs in better conditions.
He got a good attitude. My story was similar, with a breakup and so on. I saw it as a gained opportunity and not a loss. Things in the van will get better and better for him, he got a positivity to him.
Thank you for shedding light on the "new American dream". I am a widow living on a small s.s.check-I am praying & shopping for an affordable yet dependable mini van for my mid size dog & I to live in. It's been quite the challenge when you have no life except someones couch to keep waking up to yet another day. Thank God for my dog & my daughter 🙏🙏💞
@@lisahertel2415, you totally missed what gerold was saying. As long as you have a roof over your head and out of the elements than you are not homeless....just houseless. You don't have to have a stick and bricks house to have a home.
I‘ve been living in a converted astro van out of necessity for the past year and a half due to eviction (no fault of my own), and thanks to the loving kindness of friends and mother who donated to my fundraiser. What I tell ppl is that it’s really hard and it’s really stressful but not every moment is horrible. Will be selling it and getting into an apartment this month - a very bittersweet change.
My story is very similar as to the costs of higher rent, I'm so glad I had gotten my 1st van then and watching UA-cam looking at tiny homes and van builds...I got inspired to fix up my van to live in just in time before my lease contract renewal came around and the apartment complex also had new owners that bought it said rent was going up for anyone renewing their lease, anyway the rent gone up to high to where I couldn't afford it anymore, but I thank God for the van, it's been a roof over my head and rent free since, I love this van life, it may not be easy but rewarding and been less stressful too. I'm glad this guy gotten a van do he wouldn't be in the streets too. (My 1st van had almost 3 yrs, then transmission went out on it, and few months later for the same cost of a new transmission and labor, I bought another new van instead, it runs good, 5yrs newer than my previous and this one even has a topper too, and almost halfway done with my 2nd van conversion build getting there slowly but surely 😉👍) take care y'all and be safe and blessed as well.
You do what you have to do legally to survive...the hippies was doing this in the early 60s..they realized the system was about more money and buying things I think being nomadic is the way to go as the world changes and chokes people from living the so called normal way. With technology we can do just about anything.
Man has the right mind set, so let’s help him make this work a little better for him. I know he’s heading into warmer weather, but his bedding situation is barely working for him, his tires need to be upgraded immediately. As the greatest community on earth, let’s all subscribe to his channel at the very least, and of course if we can send even a buck his way it’s what we should do. Thanks for giving him a voice on your amazing channel, I literally became physically cold watching this. I know it’s not easy, but he truly is on the most amazing journey of his life.
A couple years later (2020) I got my SS......I can't work or get around very well so it really helped.....I can live on what I get pretty well......a big thank you to Steve and Connie who helped me get it too.....they helped a lot because my brain doesn't work too well anymore....Ive had some mini strokes and I have some health issues but I'm very happy none the less......Ive got a lot to be grateful for.
That was nice his ex helped him to get this van. Not only can you travel in van life but can save you some money. Now in 2022 with prices of everything going up that can be a little bit hard on van life because like he said gas prices are high and car insurance went up too. But apartments rents is the most expensive!! So at least he doesn't have to pay apartment rent. Now in 2022, many individuals are being forced to finding ways to make it and are turning to a different way of living because everything is getting so expensive! Many of turning to van life, living in a RV or tiny homes. People are trying to make ends meet because salaries are not going up but the cost of living is going up in 2022! Best of luck to this guy!! Safe travels
I love living on the road. I have been living in my winnebago warrior for 4 years now. I started living this way cause I beat cancer and wanted more out of life. I realize that I could not even think about living in a house or apartment. The costs have gotten so high that even if I wanted to I could not afford to. Thank goodness I love living this lifestyle. Good luck and good life! There is a lot of upkeep but it still is doable.
Paul she does break down. Her motor is a strong 454 chevy. Im lucky that my son has been able to keep her fixed and safe for me to travel. I have slowed down some with the high gas prices. Last time I was in town it was 5.19 a gallon.
My wife beat cancer a decade ago. Previous to that we had bad experiences with neighbours. This year we celebrate 17 years in our car and loving it . We have money to purchase another home but we're enjoying this lifestyle more and more each year ... thanks for sharing 😎
Jackery gives pretty much all the power you need for car living. Best thing I bought. No need for solar, split charge relay, inverter, spare sockets. The power meter shows what you’ve got and what you are drawing. Charge in car or coffee shop 👍🏻🇬🇧
Great interview, it was respectfully done. My thoughts on this man's situation is ;'He dodged a bullet', yes ,'but the gun should never have been fired in the first place'. Yes he is being positive in a dire situation, I salute him. I believe that over time van life gets more and more difficult. It's not fun having to shower at a gym or go to the bathroom in a public toilet, if you are lucky enough to find ones that are open and clean enough to use. Living in a van or car is not ideal in the long term but it sure is a lifeline when threatened with homelesness. I pray this does not become the norm though. Affordable public housing should be our goal moving forward. I will keep this man in my prayers.
@@lisahertel2415 Agreed, this 4th Reich we are living in America and it's socialism, SUCKS. "The Great Betrayal", 1933. America was there to save Germany, but who will be there to save US??? No one. 😥
It's all about your perspective. While I was in my van I was staying at an auto repair parking lot where there were homeless people. One night it was raining out and one of the homeless persons was laying next to me outside on a cardboard box. I truly felt lucky and like I was living in luxury being in my van. I was blessed to have food and water, was dry, could make it warm or cold, comfortable mattress with pillows and blankets and safety being locked inside.
What did you do about insurance? I want to do the same thing but am worried about an accident without insurance… if I’m hit and seriously injured by someone else without insurance,… 😳
I’m in the same situation. I’ve been in a van for two years. I lost my job and my apartment at the beginning of Covid when the hotel I worked and lived in shut down. I got evicted and had nowhere to go. No job. No money. Living on a park bench when a friend of mine loaned me money to buy a van. It ain’t pretty. It’s a 35 year old camper van but it’s home and man am I grateful to have it. I didn’t think I would love van life as much as I do but I cannot see myself going back to a sticks and bricks apartment unless I own it. I’ve paid over $300,000 in rent in my 44 years and I’m just not going to pay anymore.
I tried living in a apartment. I hated it. There something wrong with me maybe a middle age hippie crises. I love money and don't like throwing away to a bad landlord or roommate. I 💕 love freedom. I have some happy memories of camping in Redwood Forest in northern Cali and the Dessert Arizona Olympic Forest Washington. There is a downside is people don't understand the stigma attached to van dweller life. I miss cooking in a house.
I think the first 90 days living in a vehicle is traumatic for most. As they have to overcome preconceive ideas of success or what is called normal life. Even for those that do it on purpose. And you learn new skills to create income. It's just how life is. You adapted. It makes you more productive, self reliant and tough...
I agree completely. This is what happened to me. It was very hard at first but then I adapted. Created a system that works for me although I'm lucky, where I live I am near two 24 Hour Rest Areas which are clean, well lit and well stocked. Without those, it probably would have been pretty rough...
@@eckankar7756 Yes, it's sad to think about that. I have seen a couple in their 60s living in a Nissan Altima. The woman is now on a Walker. I am 42 and it is starting to take a toll on my body.
Humble and sincere… nothing to be ashamed of regardless of what put you there. You continue to thrive, maintain a job and hygiene. Hats off to you, good things will come your way!
I think a lot of people are resilient enough to do what it takes to survive. If you have to live in a van for a while, it's best to be positive about it. As he said, it's a roof, shelter from the elements and little place to call your own. If I was in the same situation I think I'd be okay too. Thank you for sharing the stories of these people.
Thanks for your video man. I had been homeless for,2 years and was living out of my vehicle too. Unfortunately, the gas prices are insane . A few years back it was 2.30 average price that was more affordable than now. A tip on getting better mileage is less weight and tuning up your engine frequently. Spark plugs, Air filter, tire pressure, etc. Stuff you probably know. Stay safe, thanks.
Ironically I'm watching this in my van, having gone through much if the same. The price of gas has really screwed me though now I have to stay in one place and can't move around as much as I want
I been vehicle dwelling and traveling U.S. 9 years. Started in a banged up pickup kept upgrading in the poor man's world. Got a rebuild off my old Toyota RV. More tiny home now than RV. I love this life. Gas does suck right now. Both for traveling and the generator. But, the cost is still worth it to me. I hope you love it, too. I loved ur video. Subscribed, liked, commented and sharing😊
Sky rocketing rent and massive inflation pushed me into van life. It's been a year now, At first it's sketchy... but once you get a routine it's not bad at all. I do work full time and shower / workout at the gym.
I have camped, van life, and now live in my garage due to a house fire. I had breast surgery. I live with out running water and electricity. It's not easy folks. But you do what you must to stay alive!.
I understand where you're coming from. I too was forced into my truck. If not for my truck, I too would be on a sidewalk. I have been lucky enough to find a few campground/rv parks to allow me to park and hookup to their power and have access to facilities. It is very difficult and at times very frustrating. Not sure of your location but if you can find an affordable park/campground that will accept your situation, it is safer than a parking lot or on a street.
I lived in my SUV Lexus older model. Me and my dog awesome security alarm. 😂 She's a malinos sheperd. I got lucky and got to park in my son's driveway since they don't live there since the last flood. The house is totaled but looks ok from the outside. The neighbors and the CITY knew and kept an eye out for me. I had an electric line from the house prepaid and whataburger around the corner that opened at 5am with hot water in the restroom to wash up. I was 👍 and then I got a place as soon as I saved up enough. Indeed.
Did I hear vancity vanlife? Glad he have van where he can sleep safely and go anywhere. Life is harder because of the pandemic, basic necessities cost soaring. Stay safe and live happily everyday.
I was homeless for a year... fortunately, I had a job serving tables...next door was a storage unit so I rented a large one for all my things, during the day I would take time weeding out old stuff I no longer needed, I would organize boxes and other things...on one side. I had all my workout equipment there on the other side. I also had a couple organizers I could hang up all my clothes, same for shoes. If I wanted to workout, I moved a few big boxes around and no one bothered me. I already had mass food quantities there and a cooler in my car's trunk plus another box for canned food and extra water and my blankets and pillows in the trunk too. I had a small bag ready to go in the trunk so no one thought I lived in the car. The place I worked had a washer/ dryer for towels but no one knew I used them because no one bothered to go back there and I had the run of the place. If I worked a double shift, lunch and dinner were free..if I didn't, I always made good tips. There was a gas station nearby that shut down at ten and the station never locked the bathroom...the bathroom was outside so all I had to do was pull up, lock the door and wash up, cut my hair, and change. If there was a gathering of friends or family and I had to dress nice, I would take my suit to the cleaners to avoid a musty storage unit smell. There were times that I could couch surf with various friends or if I was dating but no one knew...not even my parents. Everything I did had to be built around speed...to be able and leave at a moment's notice..I went back to my car late at night and woke up very early so I could drive around and find a secluded area and sleep or park somewhere, like a McDonald's to use their free wi-fi. I saved as much as I could.. until a friend mentioned she needed a roommate. I was lucky...I had those things..not everyone does. I'm actively looking to buy a RV now...I miss the freedom of being able to get up and leave anytime.
I bought a 2006 freightliner five cylinder diesel class b rv, great mpg and everything works, I bought it two years ago from a salvaged insurance auction, it had 37, 500 miles. I fixed her right up and added two lifepo4 batteries with a good solar system, now I'm off grid with a Tesla STARLINK antenna.
So many people have no idea how easy it is to become homeless. I'm glad he had the minivan to stay in. Others don't have the money to have a working vehicle. When I was a young child, my mother and other members of the church took food to "shanty town" near the stockyards (in OKC) and I remember seeing people living in nonworking cars and metal lean to shelters.
The fact his x bought him the van says plenty. He sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and little by little he will convert his van into something more organized and homey... there are plenty of vanlifer youtubers that offer plenty of advice and can teach anyone through their vlogs to live in their van. Be well sir.
It's bloody amazing that we are born into a literal MONOPOLY game. Hard to believe that our incarnation is to teach us about Western economics. Cheers mate. Good luck!
Eventually you will buy an RV and that is definitely a home on wheels the biggest problem is finding a parking spot that the authorities don't hassle you in... I actually stopped living in my RV and bought a house in Calgary and I disliked the bills so much that I went back to living in my RV and got rid of the house
I've been living in a van for 10 Years and as Ryan said, I LOVE IT! The rent is cheap and I have freedom from the nasty landlords who charge an arm and a leg and nasty neighbors. The government and people don't like it but who cares what they think! The Bill of Rights says Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It doesn't say as long as you do what society wants you to do! Too many judgemental people out there. Opinions are like a******. Everybody's got one and they all stink!
He seems as happy as one could be in his situation. I just wondering if there is anyone near him that could help him better organize. I seen some very creative "no build" vans that look like a apartment on wheels.
I graduated from my Chevy Uplander to a Dodge Caravan (roadtripping). I can imagine how tough it is to live out of a van. I would have depressive episodes, one after another. I found a 12v blanket that saves me.
There is no shame to leave in the van or car you gonna do what you gotta do as long as you don’t bother nobody you don’t do bad thing just do your business just do your thing!👍😆
Get yourself onto free cycle looking for some simple furniture to make organisation easier (I'm a naturally untidy person but I have to blitz every now and again even for my own sanity!) Look out for a blanket box or toy box with a lift up lid so you have a flat surface to cook on away from anything flammable. You can even turn them on their side so the lid opens downwards to give you a surface for food prep. If you wanted to you could position it so that the flat opens out through the door so you could cook outside. Cut out the top half of the side facing inwards so you can still reach to get to stuff from inside. Good luck with getting your family back together x
Sorry to ramble :D but I'm at this stage in my own car and repurposing furniture is the way I am going! (A TV table in my case.) If you had a blanket/toy box on its side you could position it so that the lid opens out through the door and rests on the ledge so you could cook outside. Cut the top half of the side facing inwards so you can still reach in from inside for when cooking outside isn't an option and put a few cardboard boxes inside to stop everything falling out when you open the lid/door.
At the very beginning of the Pandemic I had a choice of going back to my Mom's, as I was helping her and my stepdad with their technical needs for their "radio" ministry ... And risking passing CoVid to them ... Or living in my van. I choose the van and OMG ... Changed my life for the better. No one could tell I was 'homeless', because I had my van setup with Walmart plastic drawers in the back hatch, kept clean 'bird-bath' style via the local park's one person bathroom, And met some really good, sometimes troubled folks without a vehicle. I hosted folks in my extra back seat during cold weather and NEVER felt in danger. That is except for the police ... Their message was "Any where but here"... Sad really. One thing all van lifers should know is that post offices are Gov property and local police have zero jurisdiction over Gov property. They can do wellness checks but any tickets get thrown out if you are parked in a Gov parking lot. I go 4 tickets and all were thrown out by the Judge. I think this guy should travel to Bob's crew to help him get setup for real. He'd be so thrilled to see what they can do to help outfit his van - NO BUILD solutions. I am housed now due to a friend who ran into a lot of medical problems -not CoVid related. I ended up being her caretaker and MAN ... Big job! Hats off to all the Pro-Caregivers! It was a real challenge. Sadly, both my parents passed from CoVid August and September 2021. Going through probate now. Hoping to get a StepVan to convert into my home on wheels and hit the road. Truly LOVED living mobile. Gave me true independence and freedom. Looking forward to that again!!! God Bless ya'll and be wise, humble and careful. Life on Wheels is the ULTIMATE Ride to self-discovery.
Proud of this man! He took a tough situation and turned it into something that’s brings him solitude. Mind you I can only image how tough it can be at times for him, my hat goes off to him. Hugs brother! We should force politicians into vans for 5/6 months to see how these well dressed puppets deal with this type of life. Some shoes don’t fit so comfortably for some and they need to realize who they should be working for. Good on ya man. I can only imagine it can be a hard life at times but stay positive my friend. To be honest I’m probably not far behind you. I’ve been thinking about a similar type of lifestyle. I’m done living in this matrix. Soon be time to venture away from it.
Much respect to my man, but, he’s gotta organize is living space. Regardless I respect the fact that you feature both, fancy van life’s, mid fancy and other. You keep it real.
I lived in my van for 3 months, then again for almost a year. I love my van for some peace of mind, but full time is difficult. Taking a break due to gas cost. But.. I'll be back and traveling.
You can buy heat cans for cooking at the Dollar Tree. Also they have black paperboard to make inserts for blocking the windows. I lived in a van for a couple yrs. Shower at the local indoor swimming pool. Down coats are good for sleeping in 20° weather too.

First of all, thank you different media for bringing unique stories of amazing people that have not allowed their challenges to weigh them down. However, i may not be able to help much as at now but i would love to call upon the Van life community. He needs someone to build living area in his van with some organization with an AC and heater. He can play video games, watch television and cook if someone could build him living space.
This is why we all need to develop strong interpersonal relationships in life; SO that we always have a place to live. brothers, sisters, parents, friends, co-workers... whomever. we NEED people in our lives that we can turn to in times of need :)
True, but please understand many of us come from abusive home environments and unless you want to go back to being around toxic people, sometimes it's better to live in a vehicle than go back to abuse. Also, for many of us who grow up in these environments, we tend to attract the same type of abusive people, so it can be hard to develop connections with healthy minded people...
I lived in a minivan for 3 years specifically to escape an abusive family. It was the best decision I ever made, and allowed me to not only survive but to prosper. Too much of our society, including a lot of families, thrive on taking advantage of someone's dependence to survive. Van living is an excellent way to break that bad cycle. When you don't depend on someone else, it's much harder for them to take advantage of you.
@@alostbard I have felt the exact same way, but never was able to put it into words. You're right, a lot of relationships- family, romantic, work etc.. are really codependency, and for some reason if a human feels like they have some sort of power over you, or you're in as dependent situation, people like to abuse that power and you. Humanity is still very dark, and living in your vehicle, does offer some protection from these human predators...
@@Differentmedia The nice thing about a minivan is that you could make use of the vertical space with something as simple as a plastic set of drawers or cupboard from Walmart bungeed to the tie down points. Maybe he could also find a roof rack carrier on CL or Marketplace so his ramps can be better concealed and other belongings stored up there!

Camping in a safe area means you park in front of an elderly woman's home nightly..giving her a heart attack..well done !
@@themysticalexperiencer8141 I mean it isn't for everyone. If you want children, you'll need space.

I hope to meet you one day Mike!

Good luck to you in the future
Good luck with your new place, sending blessings your way.

You do what you have to do legally to survive...the hippies was doing this in the early 60s..they realized the system was about more money and buying things
I think being nomadic is the way to go as the world changes and chokes people from living the so called normal way.

Lots of people forced into this situation life can sure change fast for better or worse!!

Hopefully, your vehicle never breaks down !
Paul she does break down. Her motor is a strong 454 chevy. Im lucky that my son has been able to keep her fixed and safe for me to travel. I have slowed down some with the high gas prices. Last time I was in town it was 5.19 a gallon.

It's sad that so many can't afford a place to live.
Love how genuine this man is 🎈
Jackery gives pretty much all the power you need for car living.
I think of it as more like "houseless" not homeless per se. 🤔 Two very different structures, but beats a cardboard box in an alley.

Awesome dude, had a similar situation and ended up being a blessing as well…
Good on him! I’ve been watching so many UA-cam’s about people choosing vanlife as a way of life, and doing very well. Hats off to you.
Freedom Yayyy!
I'd imagine it's so different for people that would be older, not so limber, not so much stamina as a young guy like he is.
@@eckankar7756 Yes, it's sad to think about that. I have seen a couple in their 60s living in a Nissan Altima. The woman is now on a Walker. I am 42 and it is starting to take a toll on my body.

This dude seems legitimately cool! I hope that he has a good turn of luck! He deserves it!!
This what money is doing too people's lives love and trust is more abundant than money
Life can be hard but seeing you not giving up and still look at the positive side. Stay strong and don’t give up
That positive side is shrinking everyday
Am buying a van next year plus am extreme minimalist so living this way is easy I’ve done it before really miss it

Sky rocketing rent and massive inflation pushed me into van life. It's been a year now,
At first it's sketchy... but once you get a routine it's not bad at all. I do work full time and shower / workout at the gym.
Do you stay in a city?
Im glad you have a van to live in and are not on the streets. Best wishes.
I have camped, van life, and now live in my garage due to a house fire. I had breast surgery. I live with out running water and electricity. It's not easy folks. But you do what you must to stay alive!.

thank God for a kind ex. seems like everyone needs a van or pickup with camper just in case of hard times
In Janiary, 2010, I lived in my car in zero degree weather for 35 days. 2001 Nissan Altima. I hope things improve for you, my friend.
I’m so happy he was able to get the van. It’s a shame how we’re born free but have to pay to live!
Only wild animals are born free...humans are born into the socioeconomic machine.
Camp stove. Is a life saver too.
Be well sir.
same here been in my van for just over a year. i love it too 😄
It's bloody amazing that we are born into a literal MONOPOLY game. Hard to believe that our incarnation is to teach us about Western economics. Cheers mate. Good luck!
Great attitude. Such a beautiful positive mindset. You are an inspiration to me. Thanks 🙏
So true.
And a fool wants to shout his own...
I agree, neighbors are getting crazier. Even violent. I’m done with them.
Same here, you can always get a gym membership to get shower's and of course workout.
Very humble, and making the best out of a tough situation.

Amen to van-life being an awesome lifestyle alternative. #Props!
Now I've said it twice, sorry, I thought the edit didn't work!
Much luck and positive wishes

You are doing so good! Proud of you and your resilience.
Hello what's going on Love how he's doing his thing But he seriously needs to clean his van and put things away
Put them away where?
@@Differentmedia The nice thing about a minivan is that you could make use of the vertical space with something as simple as a plastic set of drawers or cupboard from Walmart bungeed to the tie down points. Maybe he could also find a roof rack carrier on CL or Marketplace so his ramps can be better concealed and other belongings stored up there!
It’s his van, he’s getting by. Must we be so judgmental. People probably need to seriously clean their house (ijs)
Sometimes life takes us where we need to
I loved living in my Chevy Suburban. It was fun. I just basically was full time camping and saving tons of money in rent doing it.
Let me know the next time you are in Hope. You’ve got a meal and a shower waiting here for you.VM
I can't imagine being homeless without a car, a car gives you privacy and security
Respect Man and be blessed.....better days will come for you
He is a survivor!
He’s going to be really happy when he upgrades to a traditional Van for Van Life or even a 5th Wheel.
