Tony Garcia there is this thing called Google that can easily lead you to mini specific forums. once there you'll find plenty of folks with the knowledge you're looking for that are willing to share it. either that or take your car to someone who specializes in mini/BMWs and start throwing money at them. I'd be willing to bet that you can buy something like a Cobb access port that'll flash a new tune on your ecu and give you a nice bump in hp/tq by changing the fuel/timing/drive-by-wire maps and bumping up the boost. they cost several hundred bucks and even a retarded chimpanzee couldn't mess up reflashing the ECU.
I have a r56 cooper s the pops and bangs are amazing with my self made straight through stainless exhaust sometimes bangs like a cannon lol but to be fare all the minis have character weather you squeeze the balls out of the mods you can do or standard love it best car ive ever had

Mrs had the poverty spec mini one and I swear it got lighter with every drive the amount of trim and interior bits that broke off or came loose. Fucking dustcap gets stolen it's probably £50 for a replacement from BMW
Zack Wilson decat, FMIC, uprated spark plugs, induction/panel filter and that’s pretty much it. Although it being stage 3 and an S instead of a JCW it’ll have an upgraded turbo. JCW’s will see between 270-290 with the first 4 mods though

Jamie, how does this compare to the likes of a Fiesta ST, with regards to driver feel, handling, power etc? I'm a hot hatch maniac, looking at upgrading soon, and I've been taking a look at the JCW as of late :D As well as the S1, Scirocco R etc.

300hp Fiesta will flat out run this. I have an '09 factory JCW, not a kitted S, that puts 288hp and the (USA) Focus RS devours mine. BUT I would NOT trade my Dark Silver JCW. love this lil rattle box!!!

Forged internals? Why my N18 r56 has a tune, straight pipe exhaust and a couple of other little things at a little over 200bhp, and my friend has 280bhp in his n14 r56 with stock internals. Unless you are trying to run way over 300 you don't need that. And I don't think you could get over 350 out of these engines, I'm sure that 350 would be the top of what you could get.
Coopers are weight sensitive. I weight about 100 less than this guy because I'm a skinny little dude. I could imagine what it would do with me in it. I'm about 135, so my cooper is like, anyone driving me?? lol
Ive heard bad reports about 1320. Ive known people that have had 6 Engines through them as they push the Car to its absolute limits and blow. Not the type of advert you want a company to be advertising. STAY WELL CLEAR! Sussex Road and Race will do the whole thing for you and you will have an engine that will last you its lifetime. They know their stuff and will give you a healthy warranty to go with it and save you on a new engine!
Mark Hartshorn not sure Mark but I've known 4 people that have had blown engines using 1320. Bad news. Sussex Road and race is you're best bet. I'm taking my cooper s to get done by them this year

Decat induction cams intercooler now has hybrid over 300bhp with meth for cooling
Its Fjcw also with jcw turbo and cams made 292bhp and 330lbft now turbo technic hybrid 302bhp and 362lbft 490nm

PaulW how did they get arounf the timing chain problem stretching slipping with there not being a key on the crank shaft so just held by friction bolt

Unbelievable you test this type of car on a country road and with speed limits. Suggested a circuit or german autobahn.
