Great work I’ve installed closets just like this in one day. I would recommend putting your door frame together first and use 45 minute compound for 1st coat, sponge dry then regular compound then sand
Getting the latch to line up with the striker can be even easier. Just chalk up the latch and when you close the door you know exactly where it lands. I tend to leave this after I install the door stops.
DAMN, good job youngster. I have carpeting throughout... 80% (🤔?)of my home. I would have to use, at minimum, 8 inches long, 0.25-0.75 wide masonry screws at the base because of my concrete foundation. Theoretically speaking.
Honest hardwork 👍 but if you screwed the drywall frame into the floor panels, replacing them in the future will be a faff as you'd have to cut them out around the closet unless you disassemble it.
Think I would’ve made the closet slightly wider and had that outlet inside my closet for possibly a charger for my power tool batteries or my hand vacuum for home Besides that, great job. Something quick and dirty🍺

I use 6 screws for my corner beads 2 top 2 bottom 2 middle....but I'm going to try that technique.
No screw is always better. You do it after mud dries up.
