Just self tapping screws, short with decent thickness. It’s shown in more detail in this vid

@@someone8476 if I remember right it has clips all the way around it, well 4 of them one in each corner. You just need to pull up on it to pull the clips out but be careful not to break it

KY jelly, or if you don’t have that then Motorcycle chain lube works well.
