Was not able to include Nightcrawler and Marrow because youtube allows only 4 options, our familia is looking for them. I was expected something "less" form husk, like a "gereric blonde" with the red Gen X costume and some particular detail, but this? OMG!!!!!!! (I would buy the generic blond anyways 🤣) thanks Hasbro!!!!! It´s so Paige!
Regular depowered Husk looks a lot like Alicia Silverstone. Very excited for this whole wave. But I am with you on wanting a straight AoA Kurt. That Wolverine costume is also inspired by the Ultimate version.
Well THAT didn't take long! I enjoyed your brief history of Charles losing and regaining the use of his legs. 😂 The unexplained complication of being able to walk when his powers were blocked in S2 of TAS made me think his injury was psychic in nature and tied to his telepathy. It didn't make a lot of sense and I wish the show had explored it more even if in a later episode. It's one of those things I'm a little surprised didn't get "Mandela Effected" into other media like Magneto's helmet. All that is to say, I'm really happy to be getting this version of Xavier. Cortez looks perfect! You always hope they nail it for these long-overdue figures because it's probably the only shot they're going to get. Nice to see the AoA variants still being sprinkled in these lines, even if they can't supported a dedicated wave. Classic looks would be preferred, but I still dig that version of Nemesis. I thought I was looking at Ultimate Wolverine at first; ZERO recollection of him in an X-Treme costume. At least that means Hasbro is aware of the book and its underrated looks. Marrow, wow. No notes. And X-Factor Cyclops?! Shiiiiiiiiit. 🤩
Marrow has to be my fave from the reveals. I noticed some are complaining she doesnt have the bones sticking out of her forehead but that obviously came later in her run. This is giving me Uncanny 346 Joe Mad vibes! It would never happen but a Callisto with her Joe Mad costume would be sick! I guess I only know Nemesis* from the AOA run because this one I dont recognize at all. All the figures look great (I wish Husk was prettier lol) but I dont think Ill be building Nemesis* unless I find the other figures on sale. Marrow, Husk are going to be pre-ordered. AOA Gambit and Cortez Ill buy if I see out in the wild. Kinda wished they did X-Factor Cyke as a two-pack with red (or green) Jean and instead had given us a human Bobby Drake. Im really meh to the Uncanny X-Force looks (this is after I stopped reading the books) so Ive got no connection to them (even though I like Kurt). I totally read and collected X-Treme X-Men in real time (I was one of those Claremont defenders when New X-Men fans were hating on the the direction of his book) but I really dont remember Wolverine in X-Treme then. Am I crazy?
I am loving what I saw today, I want most of what was shown today. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and energy for the product, shame that a lot of people in the comments this morning could not feel that way. Sucks that this hobby has so many entitled and rude fanboys. Really hope they re-do the X-Force figures on newer pinless molds. Definitely think X-Force Archangel is coming. Pretty sure one on the clues was his darts from his wings.
Mcfarlane seems to get a blast from playing with the collector community. I like the character, and I will try to get it. However, I already have the DCUC version, and it still holds up nicely in case getting this becomes a painful challenge.
As of January 15 2025..Husk.. Marrow..& AOA Gambit are SOLD OUT on Amazon. I was able to preorder the entire wave on Amazon the first day.. even tho i only wanted Fabien Cortez & Marrow...& the Genocide BAF..so i plan on selling off the rest

They better do an X-Treme X-Men Storm. They’ve never done it before in Legends form.
It would be very easy to do an X-treme packed with the Warbird body/boots. Just add garter belts.
