- I have tested a number of wireless guitar products and the Sennheiser xs Pedalboard is my new favorite. It does something that other wireless guitar systems do not. The receiver doubles as a tuner. This may sound like a small detail, but it is big. It allows the wireless receiver to be mounted to the pedalboard while not taking up any more room on the board as well as not needing to be charged. Also, the wireless transmitter can be charged from the tuner/receiver when not in use. No more running out of batteries, no more dongles on the side of the pedalboard. It really is a great wireless setup. I plan on doing a full "real world test" video in the future after a month of use, but so far this is my favorite wireless guitar system yet.
In this video, I test the Sennheiser wireless pedalboard with my acoustic Taylor 314ce, but it will work on any guitar with a pickup, acoustic or electric.
Just bought a Shure glxd16. I've tested almost all wireless in that range of price and owned a lot of high-end unit and I think the Shure glxd16 beat all of them.
Hpw about this sennheiser?

@@BagusWibisono Sound quality's pretty equal... but for reliability in long term Shure is the winner.
Ive got the Boss-been using it for about year now. I love it. Less clutter at my feet, sounds great. Never going back to cables.

Strap-on systems, you can't change guitars fast. AKG bug I switch in seconds. But I also have a small velco glued to my guitars that need to hold bug still. I know a lot of you wouldn't want that. Velco glued to my Les Paul. And bass. And acoustic. But not on my Strat. I've recently got a Getaria rechargeable system. Also glued Velco to that to hold it still. Love both my systems. Been wireless for over 10 yrs now. I do like the tuner pedal system tho.
I bought this around a month ago. It works great but the transmitter battery does not last long enough.
Add a small USB-C external power bank on your strap?

@@kennisrussell I like the tuner feature on Sennheiser. The line 6 doesn't have that.
Nice! Although they could display something on the screen when you're playing. Like, vu-meter or something. So you could check if you have signal right before the show when the amp is on mute. Other than that, looks like a nice unit. Pricey, but they all are.
Is there an update on the follow-up video yet?
Any idea on the range?
I don’t like that it doesn’t have a backup if the wireless fails or the battery dies. The Boss wireless has an input to override the wireless in case something happens
How long does the transmitter last before needing a charge? And does it have a battery you can fast swap?
