- The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous buildings in the world - the most important brainchild of engineer and architect Gustave Eiffel. The 324-meter iron tower, built in the 19th century, was considered the absolute height world record holder until 1930.
The Tower went through all the ups and downs of its homeland and still continues to rise above Paris, remaining a symbol of the industrial revolution, technological progress, architectural ambitions and, of course, romance. The Eiffel Tower is considered to be the most popular tourist attraction, visited by more than 7 million tourist from around the world every year.

That’s funny this was considered top notch and abnormally high in its day now you have towers like sears tower Jetta tower and the burj Khalil tower and of course the twin towers 9/11 Rest In and the upcoming Dubai fall creek tower under construction to be ready in 2021 of 1.3 kilometers man how times have changed makes Eiffel Tower now seem like nothing special but in its day was colossal and unheard of.
