Shot them both. They are both great guns and you can't go wrong with either one. It's really up to personal preferences...... I own the Sig P320 because when trying out different guns this one felt the most natural in my hand. If I had to make the choice again I would go with Glock because over here in Germany Glock spare parts and accessories are easy to get. Sig parts are much harder to get and more expensive.
The only reason u.s.army got the Sig m18 because of money the Glock was more money Sig service dept not that good Glock is much better and nicer to deal with and parts easy to get 😊

I do not have the 19X or the M17 but do own the P320 and the G19. Every time I go to the range (at least twice every 45 days or so) I do my own comparison of the two pistols. So without doing a vid and all that cool guntuber stuff here is my personal analysis. My level of accuracy is a bout even with both but when it comes to a comfortable shooting experience and smooth follow ups the P320 is better for me. The Glock is lighter but for me it makes the felt recoil a bit more pronounced. Both triggers are ok. I like the wall on the G19 and I like the reset on the P320. So all told I prefer the P320 overall.

They are so cheaply made and are literally being surpassed by every other company because they still wont improve their design and come out with a new one. You can buy from almost every other manufacturer and get a pistol with better sights, guide rod, trigger, mags, and controls. The glocks are starting to become mediocre
@@200130769 they always have been mediocre. Stock at least. But by mediocre you cant deny they are the standard, you want a cheap good gun? Glock. Want a good and reliable gun? Glock. Want a gun for duty? Glock. Obviously sig rivals them, but in my opinion glock wins every day of week

However I think they got it wrong, I personally would’ve love to see H&K win a military contract. But that Glock 19X is nice tho, but the Sig has the gift of gab LOL. I personally would have pick Glock if over Sig due to the fact that the 320 had that drop issue which lead to the recall. Glock has never that problem.
The local dealers in the Philippines sell G5 Glocks with only 2 mags. Same with the Taurus TS9 (the second mag slot is empty) Bummer. Plus Glock G4s several years ago were more affordable and came with three +2 baseplate mags. (So you had to buy their baseplates or mags with flat baseplates)

I was thinking about adding the M17 to the collection at some point...is it worth it everyone? The GLOCK 19x is a great pistol overall.
Yes!
I don't own a glock 19x but I do have a glock 19 gen 4 and I prefer the m17 over it. But its only due to personal preference and neither have ever had any issue. I wish I would have went with the m18 over the m17, but I still carry my m17 over the glock.
@@daggersquadops1148 19x trigger is noticeably better than the gen4 19. I have both. I also have a sig p320 spectre comp and its trigger is only marginally better than the 19x imo.
I own Sigs and Glocks. I own the 19x. Amazing pistol!!!!!
The M17 is a great gun and will serve our boys well. I’ll take either gun.
“A chamber in the round” it sounded perfectly normal when he said it though lol
Great review! Thank you! I own the M17 and it’s a great shooter.
Great video comparison. I love Glocks and own the 22, 19, 17 and 43x but the Sig M17 looks better than the 19x. The M17 just looks good when you put it side by side. Now I understand why some people hate the 19x, it looks odd but I will stick with the Glock because it works every time.
In a firefight you want less pieces and quick repair . When you sacrifice price . you get the p320 wich is a great gun but I think they should have made a joint contract with both. This way the individual soldier has a choice. But both are great guns. Great video !!! Best one I’ve seen so far!!!
Bist du Sportschütze?
@@user-ru9kf6el3f ja, und Jäger. Bin mittlerweile übrigens komplett auf Glock umgestiegen.
The only reason u.s.army got the Sig m18 because of money the Glock was more money
Sig service dept not that good
Glock is much better and nicer to deal with and parts easy to get 😊
Own both (the m17 without safety) . To me the m17 just shoots a lot better. Everyone shoots accurately with it right away. The 19x stays with me (appendix carry/car gun) the m17 is my go too owb setup with safariland holster.
I couldn't make up my mind. So I got both. Both shoot awesome.
Good video! I kind of like the 19X.
Opinions are like...
Hey I’m not saying sig isn’t nice, but Glocks are like AKs they get the job done, no matter what. That’s the fact.
@@dicktrickle5352 and just like the AK the reliability of the gun has been embellished to a fault.
It is best to own both.
I love my G19X. Both are great pistols.
Give me a GLOCK every time!!
I used the m17 in the while I was in the army. I own a 19x, there's a reason for that.
no clue why folks are comparing these two guns...you want to go apples to apples, compare the M18 to the Glock 19x...the M17 is a full size gun (4.7 inch barrel) where the M18 is a compact with similar barrel length (3.9 inch) to the 19x (4 inch)
Just a short note for a M-17 purchased in 2020...came with the 17 round mag and two 20 round mags. I am having hell finding a shoulder holster with off side mag pouches for the 20 round mags. Good comparison video. Buy both
Why wouldn’t they use the Glock 17? Seems a closer comparison than a 19...?
I guess they just go by barrel length
Which grip angle are you comfortable with? I have Sig and Glock - they both work every time!! If you lose a gunbattle it won’t be either weapons fault!😀
Thanks for clarifying the Glock sights. I see different prices for the 19x online, I was wondering if the difference was plastic, glock and ameriglo sights like the 45.
Yes my brother. Like our show .I am in the 242 I love test the two them out!!
I’m happy with the M17 and glad we switched. Great video, our M17s have the normal take down level.
I have small/medium sized man hands and the p320 medium feels way better to me than the Glock.
Drop it lol
@@mrwendell6151 - What are you crazy? She could accidentally kill someone doing that :P
I have the gen 3 G19 and a older Sig P226 and it's lower budget the Sp2022, but owning both brands, I lean a little more towards Glock but I want to get the 19X
I’m a SIG man all the way but I have nothing against GLOCK both are badass🍻
I do not own a Sig ,never have.I have owned a CZ a Canik and many others .I purchased the Glock 19x last week and I can tell you the Sig must be some firearm to outdo this .The Glock is the best feeling pistol in hand I have ever felt.Is the trigger CZ quality ,no but it is still very good .I like the look of the Glock over the Sig not saying the Sig is bad at all .These I'm sure are both quality firearms you could count on when the SHTF.
Thank you for the info , now I know which one is my next
Gun. !🇱🇷
"Cocked and locked" on a striker fired gun?
How does that work?
You introduce a disruptor in the mix....
I have a glock 19x and I love it easily one of my favorite guns
I always feel Glocks are a lot snappier with recoil, which I don't love. You definitely feel it a lot more.
I've had my 19x since launch and it really is one of the best guns I've shot. I stay on target really well with it. I carry it everyday and fully trust my life with it.
Crazy the M&P 9 or anything from Ruger wasn't considered. Was there any made in the USA pistols considered? GREAT review!
Just got the Glock 19X on Gun Broker for $588.00 with zero tax and free shipping from Full Moon 🌕 Armory!
Also have the G-45 and both are extremely well balanced guns.
***These are definitely the best Glocks ever made***
I Hope 🤞 they make a .357 Sig / .40 S&W Glock in the same configuration soon!
snagged mine for 489.99 when it was on flash sale in my lgs
@Jared Flores - Dang, that’s a great price I’m jelly! Where was the flash sale?
Hey Chris good job with the video, liked the comparison aspect of it. You just earned a Subscriber
I have fired both of these models. The M18 has 3 failures in the first 75 rounds. The 19x had none. I own 3 Glocks and a pair of Sig 220’s. I just purchased a 19x enough said.
Glock 19x vs beretta m9a3. What do you think?
Berreta M9A3
Both are great firearms, tough decision. I will go with the Sig, just my choice. Thank you for the good upload.
I’ve been looking into the M17 for awhile. Thank you for the great info. Any word on a threaded barrel for the M17/18?
Pity Sig doesn’t pass on some of the cost savings of the P250 parts reuse to civilian customers.
Love the channel I’m in Indy as well keep up the good content
I own a sig and a glock my sig feels better when I shoot it but had several failure to feed when using sig hollow points and my glock never had a problem with the sig hollow point or any failure
Glocks are such great guns but I wouldn’t mind owning the Sig. you can’t go wrong
Glock all the way. Everyday, all day.
@@brightpri6692 they arent cheap anymore. You're paying a premium for a cheap gun. They are almost all reliable. Smith and wesson has been in duty longer than glock. Glock doesnt win every day of the week. Everyone is making better guns right now. Glock loses
@@200130769 i said its the standard
@@200130769 its what people compare everything to. Its just good.
The military doesn't have takedown spanner wrench, that was removed as per army requirements.
You're confused on the sights... The Leupold Deltapoint Pro won the Army red dot test and that is what the slide is milled for. The Deltapoint Pro has it's own rear sight attached. The P17 will have backup sights...
If you could only have 1 which would you choose?
I wish we would have chosen the 19x or the M9 A3😢
Money talks bullshit walks oh, a hundred million dollars difference in the contract you got a businessman in the office it's a no-brainer.
M. Low yep, Sig pretty much gave the guns away to the military in hopes of high civilian sales. Ironically, the 19x is killing it in the civilian market
Remis_oconnell I know Sig is killing right now as well believe it or not the 320 is selling more than Glock right now.
Robo Glock just had the brass to the face problem....
Excellent review!!
I would like to know your preference between the two pistols overall in a “vs” video.
He already said he likes the Glock 19X better.
I have them both and I did remove the Sig safety and put on a P80 and now my Glock is lonely in the safe hardly ever shoot it. m17 all the way
Damn i love those colors how much for small one
The local dealers in the Philippines sell G5 Glocks with only 2 mags. Same with the Taurus TS9 (the second mag slot is empty) Bummer. Plus Glock G4s several years ago were more affordable and came with three +2 baseplate mags. (So you had to buy their baseplates or mags with flat baseplates)
Does the thumb safety disconnect the sear in any way, or is it simply blocking trigger movement?
Try and get them both, both are great guns
How many times am i gonna watch this damn video?
