Yes!! We need more honest doctors like this. What a breath of fresh air! We should take charge of our own health and he is explaining exactly why and how.

    1st, 2nd, 3rd opinion YES!
Unfortunately for a lot of people, depending on type of insurance/income, they may not be able to afford to go "out of network" or pay "out of pocket" and hope they get reimbursed by their insurance.
You are a rare GEM 💎 Dr Chung 😊 thx for all you're doing to educate the masses!

Thank you for your honesty! There are great doctors in America but sadly the healthcare system makes them care more for the "business" than for the patient

Thank you, Dr Chung, for your advice. I definitely wish I could go back in time to 2018 and see more than one proctologist.
I trusted the one I was referred to, and it was the worst mistake of my life.
Because the last six years have been the worst and it doesn't seem it will get better. ❤

I really wish I had seen this video before I went through a 7 month fruitless journey through 6 CRS, 2 PTs, and thousands of wasted dollars.

Yes, healthcare works for us!! Some docs I've seen will intimidate me because they have a degree and I'm just a patient. So very sad when doctors look at patients as a business and not people.

I have experienced all that you shared. The problem is even more challenging now that hospitals share your chart with others even when you click the bottom that says do not share so you get independent assessments of a situation.

I love you! I finally got my banding, no hemorrhoids, fissures, or anything else. Just a bunch of loose skin that hurts. There’s no PT therapists around here they are all booked for months. The GI doc said he might be able to band more skin. It’s gross, it feels like I can sit or walk without it leaking out. How’s PT supposed to fix that. You keep me going doc!

Right on point!,,, we have great doctors but we have a shitty heath care system in this country. The wrong people are getting the rewards, not the doctors who deserve it but insurance companies and corporate heath care companies.

but my problem is my brain stops working due to so much pain & suffering, that puts me into a weak spot psychologically... I can't even think straight, that I need a second opinon.. T^T. that's why we need someone else who deeply cares for us, but I'm unlucky & still single..

Yes it’s also interesting in any situation to here another person’s opinion on something and how it would differ from the other or how similar they are and if both give the same or similar opinion then that likely would be the best thing to do I had to go the hospital twice for what I and the first doctor thought was a uti got antibiotics but felt way worse the next day so went back then a different doctor saw did more test found out was an abscess on my kidney and had an E. coli type of bacteria always get another opinion or have it looked into further if the first one wasn’t enough.

Hey Dr. was looking at some of your fissure advice. I had heart valve surgery so am more prone to endocarditis risk. Do you know how risky a bacterial infection is, since obviously we're bleeding in an area with poo passing over it?

Hi Dr. Chung. Can mild rectal prolapse heal on its own? I think I do have one but it only happens after BM and shrinks back after a few hours. I am afraid its gonna be permanent one day

Lol, sure. Travel around the country searching for the best health care while you are suffering from painful illness or injury. I live in a health care desert. How about you doctors learn how to care and do it right the first time?
