They wouldn't do this ever because that would make Disney address their "Screw ups" They could still technically do Beastly Kingdom as a way to answer back to Epic Universe from Universal but if anything realistically, that would happen after the epcot stuff!

The Imagineering Story's first episode reminds me of how Disneyland and Disney+ started the same way - several months of failures, repairs and criticisms. After the park opened, Walt himself said, "This is just stage dressing. We're just getting started." Disney keeps moving forward. Eventually, things will get better.

This is my favorite show of all time. I've watched it at least a dozen times. UA-cam randomly suggested this four years later, which means maybe I should start rewatching it again right now
If I could tell my 9 year old self that one day I wouldn't have to hope the Travel Chanel ran out of programing and decided to play the "Disney Parks: Behind the Magic" special again, but would instead be able to click a button on my tv and watch hours and hours of back stage content, I think I'd explode.
Tell your kid to dream big! They’ll get there one day if they believe they can! I’d love to be an imagineer, and I’m in college studying design, so it’s really cool seeing how it applies to what Disney does! That sounds like it’d be an amazing job! 😄 This show will definitely be so fun to watch, and will probably inspire the next generation of imagineers!

One day at Disney won't be out until December 3rd. Each new series will come out one episode at a time, on a weekly schedule, which means that the 52 part One Day at Disney will be there the whole year round!
The funny thing is...as much as I love Imagineering, it breaks my heart that a lot of the top-tier, "wow" stuff never makes it over to the US. It's mostly in Japan (DisneySea) or Hong Kong (Mystic Manor).
The Asian parks came later than the U.S. parks which is why the get more inovative stuff. However, since Carsland, I think Disney has been trying to step up their game even further.
My grandfather, Ed Thomas, was one of the Early Imagineers who worked with Walt Disney to create things such as the Pirates of the Caribbean and others. I have some personal items given to him by walt himself that are priceless to me. What I would do to talk with him more about the amazing processes they went through. I hope to visit Disneyland with my 8 year old son one day to show him what my "Paw paw" helped create.

Jason Baylor Everest was built with three independent structures. The coaster, the ride building/mountain, and the Yeti. The reason it hasn’t been fixed is because in Disney’s eyes, most guests don’t even realize it’s broken because you go by it so fast and it would require substantial downtime/money. If what you are saying is true, then how come the animatronic was one of the last components installed for the ride? At no point in the construction was the Yeti seen so he was installed after the building was completely closed up (the coaster track and mountain structure were complete prior to the “skin/rockwork” being completed).

Robotnik's robots did the same, starting with Scratch and Grounder to try to take down Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower.
First off I LOVE this show so much when I saw the trailers for it before Disney plus dropped I begged my mom to get Disney plus and thank God she did, this show is just all around amazing, I’ve wanted to be an imagineer ever since I first saw the worlds that they created and how they did it in such an amazing fashion. I love the idea of making worlds and rides that come from your mind and then go on paper and then might actually get made, being an imagineer is my dream job and I’m still hoping to make it happen, I’m currently in my junior year in high school and have no other idea of what I want to be besides an imagineer, or something like that, if anyone has any way to make that happen or any ideas as to what I could do to further develop my skills and get even closer to being an imagineer please tell me I’d love to do this for the rest of my life, that’s all, Once again ABSOLUTELY LOVED this show. I rode one and marveled the other while attending the park at last to celebrate the magic and cherish the anniversary and century-old wonder.
