Landscape is far better. Any equipment, heavy machinery, or vehicles the frame of reference is always with respect the seated operators position. The inserts can be a factory install option if u choose the option when building the truck and the higher trim levels have then standard both front and back. Good news is that they are not too difficult of an install. Fronts are a bit more of a challenge esp if you have Mudflaps already installed..
There are 3 round holes on the truck and 3 oval holes. Before putting the liner in the wheel well push 3 of the screw receivers into the 3 oval holes in the wheel well. Then put the liner in place. The 3 round holes will accept the round plastic push pins. Then screw the 3 screws into the 3 remaining holes that you installed the screw backings in the first step.
If mud flaps are installed in the rear , do they need to be removed for the liner install and then reinstalled? Or can the liners be installed with the mud flaps already installed…?
Please use landscape! Left & right orientation is always as though you were sitting in the seat looking out the windshield. The exception to this rule is in upholstery furniture which will state “left arm facing” from the perspective of you standing and looking at the furniture.
Thanks for the video ! Just picked mine up, scanned the code and realized there wasn’t any info. Quick google, watched your video and I’m all fixed up.
I recently ordered a Silverado 3500HD and the rear wheel well liners were an add on. I chose to pay for them to be factory installed but you're right. It's crazy they don't come with these high priced trucks as standard equipment. Oh, Landscape mode is 1,000 times better!
We just bought a 2022 F350 super duty and the dealer ordered the wheel liners on the truck. Thank goodness otherwise I would’ve had to order them aftermarket through the Ford dealer and install them myself. The other thing my truck didn’t come with was The under the hood heat shield or liner. I had to order that from the dealer and instead of paying $35 for the pushpins to mount the heat shield to the hood, I got the Ford OEM parts on Amazon for 10 bucks.
much prefer landscape over portrait. Landscape (side to side) shows much more, otherwise we see too much sky and ground. Can't wait to see the upcoming video about your new truck!!
Just upgraded from a 2002 7.3 Power Stroke to a 2023 7.3 Godzilla STX that tows our GD 2800BH. It tows fantastic. Just finished a 1,200 mile trip. Would love to see a video on your new truck.
I just bought the 2024 version is of this same exact truck (less the onboard power) but in white. I ordered some aftermarket wheel liners and they are horrible. The holes don’t line up, they are wavy and warped and just overall not good. Guess I’ll give the OEM’s a shot.
Ford has it correct- right is always passenger side. Otherwise it means nothing. My 22 Chevy 3500 didn’t have rear liners either due to supply chain issues. They weren’t available in aftermarket either. So I used a $8 can of spray paint to fix it. I’m happy now.
Just added these to my truck. After a lot of searching I found the instructions on the Ford instructions sheet website under the 2020 model year. I guess Ford couldn't spare 2 pages of paper for the price of the parts.
@@WanderingWeekends There are plastic liners for both the front and the rear. Had I ordered my truck it would have came factory with both, the weird cloth stuff up front just seems like it would hold moisture which is exactly the last thing you want.
I have the white truck and couldn’t stand the white wheel wells. I just painted mine with black bed liner spray. Yea I’m cheap but looks much better now.
yeah, frame the video so you can clip the sides for facebook etc but the view isn't messed up on a platform like this (also would work if you do UA-cam Shorts assuming you can either cut it way down or before/after shoot the short and chop the sides when you do the Facebook etc)
Thanks for sharing your video. Hard to believe the Tremor at its stratospheric price does not come with rear WWLs. This is a terrible place to nickel and dime customers. We even chose the carpet delete option, so Ford saved cost there.
@@WanderingWeekends I believe you are correct for some trims. Mine is an LTZ. They are included in the LTZ and High-Country trims, and maybe on the RST as well. As others have mentioned, hard to believe they are not standard equipment on trucks that run north of $70k easily. Big improvement on your Ford. Nice. Also, I prefer the landscape view, but the portrait view was o.k.
Counterpoint: They were available as a DIO. I didn't want them. Didn't need them. Didn't want to pay the $$$ for them. Up here in Wisconsin, I like to have easy access to the underside to get all the nastiness out after a grueling chemical winter. Sure, the truck may be expensive, but that's a whole different conversation.
So, I don't quite understand why you're saying they should've included them - there are several ways to have them installed. You can DIY like you just did. You can order them when you order the truck if you special order it, the dealership could have ordered them if they wanted if they were just ordering for their own inventory, or...you could've had them install them for you when you purchased it. Oh, and landscape please!
First of all, Landscape please! I didn't buy three 32 inch 4k monitors to watch a video on a quarter of the screen! Is there any kind of prep work that you did, or should we do behind the liner to keep it from rubbing or storing grit, salt, stones or whatever, so it doesn't chew up the paint behind the liner? Part of me thinks it might actually be better to rhino line or whatever your favorite bed liner material is, the insides of the fender to provide an air and liquid tight seal to keep the body panels from getting all chipped to hell. I especially wonder about the top 10 and 2 oclock position of the fender where my old one rusted out because of whatever BS foam was in there held moisture and rotted it from the inside out. Granted this is aluminum, but it can still corrode! Thanks for the video though non the less!
America driver is on the left👊side 😂 sorry I just had to. Sure looks better. Think how much that would have cost ford to have factory employee install those two pieces. Union scale😢
I don't get it either why there are none either. Nor why they are still modern trucks without led headlights and push button starts. Those should be the minimum these days!
Landscape beats portrait mode. I won't watch portrait vids or shorts. I wish yt would provide a way to filter them so they don't appear on my subscriptions page.

This is the correct method...and sequence.. Do not use the push in plastic pins on the oval holes...

Very helpful. I see myself doing this soon as my truck was ordered with front liners but no rear ones. 🤦♂️
completely agree it should already be included, i've just been too cheap to get them for my silverado custom.
Landscape. Plus, you're right they should come with them. Great job buddy
For us we usually watch our UA-cam content on a T.V. so landscape is much better. Great video!

I wonder how sprayed bedliner would look in wheel well?
Prepping it would be a PITA but I’m sure it would look pretty good.
Landscape modes please. Not enough visual portrait mode.
Portrait mode sucks. But I agree, the fender liners should be factory equipment. I installed Husky liners on my '19 F150.
When I bought my 2022 F-250 Lariat, the wheel well liners were part of the order. I got front and rear from the factory.
much prefer landscape over portrait. Landscape (side to side) shows much more, otherwise we see too much sky and ground. Can't wait to see the upcoming video about your new truck!!
Appreciate the feedback!
Landscape for the win.
When did you get the new truck? Didn’t see any previous mention of it.
About 2 weeks ago. Video coming soon!

Much cleaner look thanks Cory I did the same on my dodge 3500
Landscape. Fill the tire well with some larger 35’s and you’re wheel wells look much better stock.
Thanks for saving me so much time!

Good video Cory as always. I suggest going back to landscape.

I just ordered a 2024 yesterday and it came with the rear liners, but not the front. Figured there must be some logic around that. Any ideas?
The front of my truck has felt like liners.
@@WanderingWeekends There are plastic liners for both the front and the rear. Had I ordered my truck it would have came factory with both, the weird cloth stuff up front just seems like it would hold moisture which is exactly the last thing you want.
This was one of the first mods on my truck. I did not use the OEM liners though.
The “Right Hand & Left Hand” are when you’re sitting in the truck. I found that out with the ones from Husky.
Landscape mode is much better than portrait. Is a video about your new truck coming in the future?
Absolutely!
I just picked up a 23 sd. Same, need to drop a liner or paint.
Landscape preferred.
Got a trip to Georgia in 2 weeks!
Come on!!
I have the white truck and couldn’t stand the white wheel wells. I just painted mine with black bed liner spray. Yea I’m cheap but looks much better now.
Probably looks great!
Like the tires but don't recognize the tread. Brand???
Portrait mode blows don’t change what has worked previously.
Does the front come with a liner?
Yes, the felt type stuff.

Definitely pinching pennies!
Great video, but use the landscape mode. 👍😃
Noted!
Landscape please. You can watch landscape in either orientation on a phone. Vertical is just terrible when trying to watch on a TV.
Congratulations on your new truck!!
Thank you!
U.S. vehicles are all left hand drive so left means driver side. I put OEM liners on my 22 Ram. Very similar process.
Great point thinking of it that way. I believe I get
my thinking from NASCAR 🤣
RH or LH is always from the drivers perspective...
Are the screws aluminum? Putting steel screws into aluminum can be a problem.
Nice truck!!!! R or L as seen from the Drivers Seat.
Why do you need a liner? What does that do? Does it collect moisture?
In my case it’s cosmetic. Moisture is not a concern since my body is aluminum.
Thanks Cory! Please switch back to landscape. Happy Camping!
Thank you for the feedback!
Landscape. Bigger picture to see better.
2024 and there still is not an install video. Haha thanks for the video.
My ‘22 Chevy came with liners.?
Apparently it’s an option for Chevy as well.

Did you get another gas engine in your truck?
Absolutely. I loved the 7.3 in my last truck so I stuck with it. Don’t miss the diesel one bit. Simply wanted some more bells and whistles.
prefer landscape mode, looks like a nice pickup

Oh, and landscape please!
It’s a $68k truck… a few slabs of plastic won’t dig out their bottom line that much. The truck looks unfinished without them.
it’s an option to add those in the ordering process like i did mine.
For $68k it should be standard
Another vote for landscape. Thanks
Thanks for the video
I enjoy your videos. Landscape is better.
JP
Definitely prefer landscape.
Landscape for me. New truck- could there be a fifth wheel in your future?
No sir. Ha!
Lanscape. Its as if you are sitting in the drivers seat. Defiantly should be standard equip
Landscape. And Chevrolet. Oh wait that wasnt the question 😬😄😄 Jk the Fords nice
😂🤣

landscape!
Vertical is okay for shorts but prefer landscape for long form vids.
Adding things to the truck and we haven’t been properly introduced……😂😂
Haha!
@@WanderingWeekends 🤣😂🤣😂
Vertical video on UA-cam does not work well. I thought your truck was blue. Did you get a new one?
Old truck was black. New truck is silver. 🙂
Hehehe Good Job, We like LANDSCAPE better.
you go 7.3 again on the new truck??
Absolutely
Landscape is much better.
Corey, landscape please, thanks
Landscape for sure

landscape mode.
I have to agree with most everyone else. Shoot side to side so the video is wide. The portrait mode looks horrible.
landscape
