    I seriously can't comment enough about how much I genuinely love your videos. The cooking is so fun, the editing and music is perfect and your personalities are lovely. Thanks for all the work you do and for all the ideas you share. I've never had a won ton but I need to try to make these. I hope you have a great day!

    This video is so chill. I love watching your kids cook with you, too. However, I really enjoyed watching this video. It was relaxing, and I watched while having my cup of coffee this slow Sunday morning. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

    Did miss seeing the kids but this was a lovely video. Love wontons/dumplings. I usually just use mushrooms and veg. They freeze so well. Do you make steamed buns as well? They are fun with a meaty mushroom filling. Like your quinoa mix.

      Hello Mary! We have not made steam buns before that’s something I should try! I’ve been craving Asian/Chinese bread stuffed with goodies I’ll have to give it a try. The quinoa was great!

    Hi Rosa❤ Long time no see. I missed out on your videos and I need to catch up. Taiwan is definitely on my radar. So is Japan. Dumplings and wontons are life. I make them and freeze them because it’s just me. Asian food is so delicious. I went to china town in Bangkok and it had to be the best China Town I have ever been to. Great video, and yeah, I could watch you cook all day. Sometimes I do😊. Peace and love to all of you.

      Hi Mary! Long time no see we hope you’re doing great! Definitely visit Taiwan, I haven’t been in a very long time so not sure how much it’s changed but I’m sure it’s changed for the better (hopefully) more vegan food options maybe? Japan too! I don’t have access to regular dumping wrappers I’ll have to try to make it myself!

    The wonton soup looks heavenly! I can smell that steam rolling up from the bowl and can nearly taste the umami in that miso broth. Tonight I’m having egg rolls that I learned to make here! I also use sweet chili sauce rather than a typical duck sauce. I’ll have a side of jasmine rice with sesame oil and soy sauce. But that is hours away! How am I going to make it that long! Thank you for my favorite channel.

      Hi Barbara! We are so glad this gives you some motivation, wontons are so easy to make!! Any filling would work and be sure to not overfill.

    I miss having time to slow down and enjoy the meal prep process, but I have four kids (ages 7, 5, 3, and 9 months), so I can't really devote the same amount of attention like I used to when my oldest was a baby. It really is relaxing. :)
    Your wontons look awesome! I'm always tempted overfill! Whether wontons, spring rolls, basil rolls... anyway, lovely day of cooking from you as always. These types of meals are so nice!

      Hello! Happy to hear you’re a large family like ourselves and totally understand that we often find ourselves cooking for survival when we have a large family to manage. But when you take some time to cook and enjoy it, it’s a whole nother experience! We hope you can find some time relaxing and enjoying the cooking process too!

    I'm thinking of making the Quinoa but only occasionally. Wontons looks quite interesting it's almost like our Jamaican patties. I don't know if you know about the patty but it's the dough filled with grind meat, fish, vegetables those is the ones with the seafood ones.❤😊👍🇯🇲

    Are your children learning other languages as part of your homeschool curriculum?

    • @thehaipath
      @thehaipath  2 місяці тому +4

      I didn’t plan it as part of their curriculum, I should’ve taught them when they were younger and continued to speak to them as Trey suggested. Maybe some day I will make it as actually part of their daily practice!
