You may want to say exactly that in order to be able to do business with the Feds, you have to be a certified company, which is not a 2-3 day process. It took us 4-5 months to be certified and we are still waiting for our certification with the airport commission. Dont cut corners on your presentation because it is a long process, yes it is worth it in the long run, totally agreed with you.
Agreed. She has another video explaining that process. I am having to go back and watch that before watching this one. I need to be walked through the entire process.

Sounds like your doing something extra. Literally took me about 2 weeks. (LLC, UEI, EIN, AND SAM reg.) maybe 2 1/2 and that's even getting my cage which took about 8 business days with dla.

im a subcontractor/consulting in construction and marketing, if not doing the work through mu company myself. I am not a fan of the whole biding process. its structured to be a hassle. plus i have to run the numbers of whats needed, and so in, so to now go through all the bs with the bidding, its a hassle. I like clients that will pay what i want, and if they add to it. its a win win, so she is telling you good info.

Hey kizzy I’m hoping you can help me I had a remodeling business I barely made it thru covid and had to go back to work for someone else and damn I don’t miss the stress but sure do miss the pay days and less stress on my body my wife even had to go back to work which really bothered me because I couldn’t keep my promise but I’m looking to get back into something but being the middle man and subbing the work out and I’m new to all this but I’m very confused on what I need to know and how to get started would love to hear back from you thanks
Would have been nice to hear about the risks. Like, what happens if your sub bails on you mid contract? Also, like the cabinet contract example, most subs are going to want a deposit for materials they need to purchase at the very least so it's not just get the check from gov and then send the sub their check.
Not all want a deposit and if your sub bails it’s on you as the business owner to fix it. No different from Amazon.
Do we have to put up our own funds to pay the contractors or for supplies? Are gov good at paying on time so we can turn around and pay the vendors?

She specifically mentioned that you will fi d all the requirements in the proposal and also you will have your P.O.C point of contact person that you can reach for any question.

What about similarly situated? In regards to a solicitation for veterans but the company we find with the middleman strategy is a commercial company NOT registered with the government and definitely doesn’t have a veterans designation.
How do we fulfill the contract with a commercial company or will we HAVE TO find a company on the SAM?
If with the VA, you will need another certified SDVOSB. They are listed on Sam and on the dynamic small business search.
