I just upgraded to the 12600K from a 4790K. Lemme tell ya. Alder Lake is amazing.

Congrats. I just ordered my 12700KF today. Still sticking with DDR4 though because DDR5 is just stupidly expensive atm.

This build turned out really good
Thats interesting. My FE 3090 is usually 62-64C in this game. I play on 3440*1440 Ultra settings. Goes to show the stock air cooler really does work well. To be fair I have 9 case fans.

Kyle’s componentstorage still gives me a sweet chub when I see it.
I’ve been cutting and dremeling my larger combs for my pcie cables (I don’t know why Asia Horse doesn’t include 8 (16 total) count combs. It’s either 3 (6), 4 (8) or 12 (24) pin.
I’ve been doing the same! Makes it look soo much cleaner!
I wonder if the ROG Gaming board is having the same issues as the Hero edition where it can burn up a few areas where some chips were placed... I got the MSI Carbon board so hopefully it doesn't occur with mine either...as I'm building it tomorrow.
Also, side note, but some of the supposed effective overclocks are being done on the DDR5 RAM modules (and I'm curious as to how that would affect gaming performance). Some people were pushing the Trident Z5 6000hz CL36 sticks up to like 6400-6600 or lowering the timings into the low 30s and getting successful posts. I'm scared to try this with the 1700 platform being so new, but I might eventually give it a try.

Very nice build, I just bought this same board and Corsair dominator rgb ddr5 ram and a 12900k as well. I'm going to be using the lian LI 011d xl case with the lian LI sl fans and an ftw3 3080ti. Looking forward to building it up. Best to use windows 11 or is 10 ok?
I was all excited to mount my GPU vertically in the 4000D, but it sits to close to the glass and thermals where total trash. Maybe a slight oversight by Corsair. I have the MSI 2070 super gaming X. Was getting up to 85c vertical, then 50 to 60 horizontal.
For the RDR2 Launcher issue, I have noticed you have to fully Exit Steam before launching RDR2 from the Rockstar launcher.
Whenever I do it that way, the game launches no problem. Maybe this will help others with the same issue.

If you did want to go corsair, I qould have gotten the 4000d mesh for thermals and it doesnt look much different.
It's good to see a fresh PC build video, I haven't really watched PC videos much the list few months.
It would be great to have a PC part selection like this to build PCs, after building my first PC last year, I'm wanting to build another one, but this time do it all myself, meaning not getting the cpu, ram, and cpu cooler installed by the techs where I got the parts from. Only thing is, I wouldn't know how to upgrade bios, they also did that for me.
Also maybe it wouldn't take me l like 5 hrs to put it all in the case and figure out the cables 😆
@@otaconzz yeah I'd like to build another pc, fully myself, I could have had it finished sooner then 5 or more hrs but I couldn't figure out the front io cables. Until finally after rereading and looking over the book a few times. After that it was clear, and just figuring out the cable management.

I had a lot of issues with rockstar launcher and noticed that windows security was blocking it by default and had to allow it through controlled folder access.
Why is the radiator for the GPU 2 fan while the CPU one is 3 fans, even though the GPU produces much more heat?

Asia Horse should supply thicker sleeves. The gaps would be minimized and the rigidity helps create a smooth curve for a build like this.
Can you build a black and green (clear custom tubes) cpu and gpu water cooled build? Large to medium case, all parts have to be: Msi, Corsair, and with an 2000/3000 series gpu.

Make sure you have the rivatuner server installed as well. I ran into the same issue. I have the hybrid as well on a 3080ti and get about 65c max.

That's about the temperature my EVGA hybrid kit keeps my 3080 ti, my local microcenter had the watercooled strix 3080 ti on release but i's price was like, way too high

DDR5? I have given up on trying to find some so have gone i9 12900k / Aorus Elite Z690 DDR4 / 64GB Vengeance LPX 3200 DDR4 (Low profile help with the NH-D15 cooler!) / Aorus Master RTX3080Ti
My new system has the same CPU and AIO. But I have the 5000X case along with 4 ll120 fans and a RTX 3090. I went for a 1200W PSU and my mobo is Asus ROG Z690-A instead of E. I went for DDR4 because I dont think it is worth the extra price to go for DDR5

Can you do a hard tube water cooled Lian Li DK-05f desk PC in one of your builds? I'm working on one myself and it would be nice to see something a little more challenging on one of your videos. The smaller PCs look nice but all look mostly the same. No disrespect intended, your doing a great job.
Would DDR5 ram run minecraft much smoother? Might be a dumb question but if minecraft is a ram heavy game, id imagine faster ram equals to quicker allocating of ram, and clearing?

i was having issues with rockstar launcher for years and it turned out to be onedrive messing with the file access for rockstar launcher.
For a LC GPU it's running to high temps ? thought 45 was possible..

Would you like to take these off my hands? I’ve used them for less than a year and I don’t want them to go to waste and know you’d make good use of them!

Just something to throw out there. Does it really matter how close to the glass the graphics card is if it's mounted vertically? It is liquid cooled and the airflow is dealt with at the radiator location, not at the graphics card itself. Maybe I'm missing something here.

Helped my gf with a z690 build and I regretted it. We’ve been troubleshooting issues with Bios all week. Apparently some of these boards cannot have xmp enabled without wrecking stability.
