The last time I visited a Carmax was probably 25 years ago. Even then I was surprised how much more expensive they were than the other dealers around here at the time.
Thank you Aubrey for keeping us updated on what's going on in the car market. Carmax not doing well shows that sellers are not doing so well which is good news for us buyers! I'm definitely following your advice and waiting till end of June to buy my brand new 2024 Toyota Corolla LE gasoline sedan here in Dallas Texas!
There is CarMax near me. CarMax has what I'm interested in, TRD Pro either 4runner or Tacoma from Toyota; neither of the Toyota stealerships, close to me; or further away, and stealerships play games with market adjustments, add ons; which I don't the patience/tolerance for; but I don't want to overpay either. So holding on to my old Honda for awhile, until the market really adjusts.
Carmax will adjust prices and they will be fine . Thru still run hundreds of auction here in So cal so that means there getting several trade-in vehicles 🚗
I would like a new vehicle... i have nerver had a new vehicle but.. i will never pay these insane prices ill just put money into my 1000$ toyota camry. Prices need to drop by 40% to get the public to even consider a new vehicle
Haha yea I thought the same but now I wish I would have bought 20k of carvana stock when it was 3$ a share. Carvana isn't going anywhere they have to much inventory and restructured their debt
@@adamhatcher6620 did it was just a market maker pump and dump. they pump it to get liquidity to pay the debt they owe else the market makers that lent carvana money would get liquidated as well. but make no mistake carvana is committing fraud. lets watch next report if carvana is still profitable or they conducted financial fraud or eye pulls legal fraud of course. last I heard they been selling stolen cars and also their inv is down. meaning they did not restock cars as much so their 5k per vehicle is a scam.
Thanks for the video! I'm in the market rn and am considering my options. What is your take on the Hertz Tesla sale especially with the tax credit and the change in CEOs? Also is it a good idea to buy from them? Of course I'll get a PPI. Trying to get a cheap reliable vehicle that's not too old.

Things like Carmax or Carvana do not even exist in Europe. Very strange concept.
That’s because Americans, more than anyone else, are willing to trade quality for convenience. A generalization, yes, but a terrifyingly accurate one.
