- The bowl was moved but wasn't taken! That's a result, lol. There was no sign of Cybil today, and Jimmy was first!

I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Cookie, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the seven regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 But I live in the hope that he'll return one day 🤞
Biscuit was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
Kenny and Norman, my two cats can be seen from time to time, plus there's Dave, the streetlight 🤣 Random cats, and not to forget the squirrels! ❤️ Plus, there's the badger! and sometimes a hedgehog!

I've learnt the hard way 3 bowls robbed by the foxes so I'm using a plastic plate which has stayed for over a year 😂😂 x

With hedgehogs the females are the most dominant and if she gets really annoyed she will make huffing sounds towards the male, to give him further warning ⚠

I'm so glad to see Daphne progress 😍 I guess she practiced with the bowls she stole lol.
Jimmy is very similar to aunti Biscuit in appearance and confident personality 😀. But still he's such an individual. They all are, it's really amazing.
For the bowls try using terra cotta planters that are short and stout.. I don't know how to describe it too well lol and there's no way to post a pic. It's not the usual tall and narrow planters basically. I got mine from Dollar Store so it could be available at any pound shop. Being terra cota they're quite heavy so probably not easy for Daphne to grab and risk breaking.
A hedgehog thing! 😂 I love Jimmy too. A night filled with drama. Loved the narration!

I love the way Pip still acts as Mum's boy even though he's obviously the dominant male among the skulk (that's the word for a group of foxes, I googled it lol). I've got only one daughter (whom I dearly love) and no sons, but it must be very rewarding for any mother to have a son like Pip...🦊❤️🦊😁😁😁 And yes, Jimmy takes after his Auntie Biscuit, our beloved Queen.🦊👑
I've come up with an idea to stop the bowl robbery: you could put a piece of rock inside each bowl together with the food or the water. Such pieces of rock should be too big for the foxes to swallow and heavy enough to keep the bowls in place, but still light enough for you to handle them. Good luck trying different methods!🤞🏻

Nice design, having a brick on both sides. So since the bowl was moved forward, just another brick in front should take care of that. Jimmy wants "permission" to enter the big Predator's space, so when you set his bowl down, try tossing a piece of sandwich his way as an invitation. The Hedgehog twins battle for space made me laugh. "Move big butt, please." "no, you!" 🦔!🦔"You're getting fat!" "no, you!"

Busy night at den mums diner again last night. Well done Daphne that's it you eat what's IN the bowl. Not take it for a walk. But well done see bowls aren't so scary. They hold the good stuff. Hence den mum needs them to put the good stuff in. Oh well done girl that's it you got it. You can have more that one mouthful that's why it's there. Tuck in and get some food in your belly. Just leave the bowl. Den mum I think you need 3 bricks one either side and one at the front. That way it can't be moved. Jimny is a lot like biscuit. He may of only known her briefly he's definitely picked up her ways. Plus his dad's. They may be gone but there's a lot of them in Jimmy. So part of them is still here with us in him. Have you asked the neighbour in the car if they have a bowl laying about in their garden? Lol. And there's his dad's move. Poke his head round the wall. He's so funny and cute. He is a right character xx

We use plastic trays you can get again to feed our foxes, but they leave loads under bushes here, but its better, you dont lose many of your posessions that way, Your cooking looks nice, and hope your finger gets better soon xx
Apparently, Daphne can't get rid of her stock. Her car trunk is almost full and this bowl is too big to fit in.

There are always Bushbuck here but today we had a huge troop of Baboons and warthogs. Really nice to see the warthogs. They are really cool animals. Maybe they like a wider type bowl, similar to how cats prefer shallow wide bowls bcuz of their whiskers touching the sides it stresses them

Try some Icthemal (sp?) it’s a drawing agent. It kinda looks like wet tar when you put it on. Cover the area and in the morning most of that will settle down. Be sure to wrap it cuz it’s nasty stuff but man does it work. Just a thought. I love that stuff.
How about a weighted dog bowl she will not try to take it with her. We have foxes here in Maryland US and the foxes leave the bowls alone.
