We mix softened butter with butter to use as a spread instead of jam, jelly, etc. Sounds like it's worth trying.

To make the PB cookies fancier, you don’t smash them and bake them as dollops. Right as they come out, jam a chocolate kiss or small PB cup in the center.

I use heavy whipping cream for my biscuits. They are called angel biscuits because they are so light and fluffy.

I did not use all the milk, I think it would have been way to wet and I baked them for 18 minutes.

I use Half and Half and Sour Cream in place of the Butter milk...good texture and flavor..!
I usually use only flour and heavy whipping cream , but mine was frozen and I wanted biscuits this morning. So I used half and half but didn’t keep know to add sour cream. They came out heavy, thick and tasteless. So bummed. But back in my day in home economics we were taught you make it you eat it, so I did.

4 eggs and 4 oz of cream cheese both at room temp. Even warm the cc in the microwave for 30 seconds or more. Mix well. You can place in the frig to get cold and firm or just go ahead and make pancakes!! These are so good. And being on KETO I need to stay away from wheat. My hubby loves them. If you cook them while warm it's every thin so great for crapes. Thanks for sharing your biscuit recipe. God bless and protect.
You can use sour cream too. We don't eat grains, seed oil or carbs anymore-diabetes in family and we were headed that direction. Cream cheese is a very versatile ingredient and can be used in lots of things... Yummy 💙💙💙

I found some peanut butter with a little honey on close out last week I bought about 8 of them. I thought it would be great to make a bunch of peanut butter cookie dough and freeze it in cookie form (flash freeze first) so that I can have fresh cookies anytime I want.

OH MY LANTA!!!! Just whipped up some of these to go with my hubby's homemade sausage gravy. I'm glad I made a double batch!!! These are better than my sour cream and 7up biscuits!!! I just made these biscuits to go with supper. Of course I had to taste test before I give them to anyone else. I love how light they turned out. I used powdered buttermilk that I keep in the fridge. Next time I make them I plan to have some garlic butter made up for on top. Thanks

Try a big dollop of sour cream in your biscuit mix......wonderful!! Self rising flour, tablespoon or so of shortening,sourcream and cold water to mix....450 oven. 15 min.
