Gold is my favorite “upgrade”. If you don’t know the original by Kiara, I recommend you listen to it first to truly appreciate what Mitch does. Avi and Kevin are amazing as well.

I read in the comments section of a video not too long ago that Mitch had never heard of the term mitch slap when a fan mentioned it in a patreon livestream I think and Mitch was like what's that? He thought it was fumny once someone explained what it was...lol ... I believe he knows he is good but I don't think he understands how good he is
I've heard that Mitch still feels insecure about his own voice, because of the bullying he suffered in high school. Unfortunately, I find that easy to believe; that kind of insecurity can run *very* deep.
Mitch came straight from that nightmare into the pressure cooker of _The Sing-Off,_ where the producers proceeded to do *the same thing* to him, trying to suppress his upper range because they thought it was effeminate and might lead to the revelation that he's gay. Never mind that everyone else in PTX (including Avi, BTW) says that they'd love to have Mitch's voice, and never mind what the judges had to say after his solo on the 12th performance - there's something in the normal human psyche that tends to discount praise and internalize shame.

Mitch, Scott, and Kirstie were only 19 when they were on The Sing Off. Mitch missed his high school graduation for the audition. Kevin was the oldest at 22-23. So yes, they were babies. It's so fun to watch all their videos and see how they've grown in the past decade.

Everyone keeps saying that all of PTX, and especially Mitch, is either angel or alien. I'm pretty sure they're fae. But whatever they are, guaranteed it's not 100% human.

Both hilarious and fantastic! #9 is part of the PopSpring Concert (4 songs) like you recognized . Mitch was ON that night. #8 Take on Me - that low note on ‘take’ was Mitch! His range is on full display there. #7 is Gold. Mitch and Avi are mind blowing. #6 is Guy.exe from Superfruit. Hilarious!!!!! And soooo good. #5 is from their guest star roles on the show Bones #4 is electric guitar Mitch in Bohemian Rapsody. The megaphone just a prop. He does it in concert without one. 😆 #2 yes, there are videos of all the sing off performances. 🤯 That was fun!! His solo of Graveyard should have been on the list, tho.
Not "IF", but "WHEN" you do the Sing Off performances, I suggest you do all the Sing Off performances, in order, with judges comments.
You also need to do all Home Free Sing Off performances, with judges comments.
You should definitely react to their videos for Bohemian Rhapsody and Can You Feel The Love Tonight. They are both AMAZING!

FYI: The megaphone in the Bohemian Rhapsody clip was just a prop. Mitch makes the guitar sound without it at concerts. Mitch makes a great violin sound too.

My 1st Mitch slap was also Hallelujah, brought me to tears. You need to watch the Bohemiam Rhapsody video. The megaphone was a prop, he actually made the electric guitar sound with his voice.

Scientist Mitch clip is a taste of Superfruit's original album Future Friends. Their evolution and album mash up covers and 'funny' song covers are amazing too, but the originals are my favourites.
I made a playlist of mrduckbear's videos of the Sing Off if it helps. I just wanted them all in one place in the right order!
His videos seem to be the ones most people react to and each of his videos include the intro before and the judges comments after.
My playlist also includes the opening group numbers of all contestants which probably aren't worth reacting to, and it has a few related behind the scenes videos and interviews at the end too.

Each week had a theme or two that all contestants had to pick and arrange a song for (rock, country, guilty pleasure songs, etc). Some later weeks had them doing two songs in a show. I think it was just the judges decided who stayed and went each week until the week with the performance you just saw in this video which is the point at which the public voted, so it was an important performance for them.

The videos of the sing off put out by mrduckbear are best ones to use. They include the judges comments, and I haven't seen one of his blocked. Plus this was all before they were signed to a record contract. you should also check out their version of "Telephone" live at Star Vista

I’ve watched a ton of reactors do the Sing Off series, so it shouldn’t get blocked. They are VERY raw in the first few performances but it’s really amazing to see their progression over the series. Definitely worth watching the unpolished songs to get to the moment they know they have something special.

"What is he doing with that?📢" It's called a guitar solo.🎸 Though some people say he doesn't need it, they have seen him do it live with no megaphone. That is from their cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody". I'm surprised they didn't include anything from their "Daft Punk Medley". Don't feel bad about 65%, that's actually a lot better than average. For most it's high 80's to low 90's percent wise.

1st of all - your 'mitch-slapped' face is hi-LAR-I-IOUS in every video, I've really been enjoying your reactions to the epic group known as Pentatonix. If you really want your face to melt (a la Raiders of the Lost Ark) - if none of your other watchers/followers have recommended him - Dimash Kudaibergen. Specifically, his performance of SOS at the Slavic Bazaar (his best performance of that song, IMHO). Going back to PTX - 99% of their performances on The Sing Off are *chef's kiss* - the one shown in this mix is performance 12, The Dog Days are Over (Florence and the Machine cover). The arrangement is reeeeeDICulously good and of course Mitch shines like the diamond that he is.
#7 is Gold and I’ve been telling you to watch it! Mind blowing!

Not sure if you had even recovered from your full day of PTX immersion, and even their solo work, and you decided to do Mitch Grassi 13 Shooketh Moments!!! You are brave indeed. Well done you! Yay....you recognized Popspring "Can't Sleep Love" - looking forward to you doing that one - please do the studio version first, back-to-back would be fun. Your facial expression, "oh no" and grabbing your blue-haired-unicorn-helmet in "Take On Me" was priceless as you knew Mitch was going to climb those octaves right to the top. I hope that you recognized that the bass note on the word "Take" was also Mitch. He has a wide range and a smooth lower register in addition to the high piercing notes. Definitely you need to watch that one too, the original is with synthesized instruments and what PTX does as A Capella is phenomenal. At #5 is Chandelier from the episode of Bones. The only thing better than watching Mitch sing is watching Mitch sing AND dance. #4 Hallelujah was also the first PTX music video that I saw, it grabbed me hook, line and sinker, and here I am today, down the rabbit hole, following reactors who follow them!! # 3...WAIT ....You have not seen that one - not yet reacted to Bohemian Rhapsody?!?!? What are you waiting for? #1.... What could it be.....duh ?!? There now needs to be a new compilation with the more recent songs over the last two years and the Christmas songs! The talent and vocal skills of Mitch Grassi are going to go down in history. There are a few of these type of compilation videos that are really good (just a little outdated...most are 4 or 5 years ago).
