1964 Chevy impala convertible, painting the core support, and front frame rails the wrong way lol

In this video, I use some rust converter paint on rusty parts on the 64 impala I don’t recommend doing this. You should probably take it all apart and clean it and do it the proper way, but this is really not in the budget for this project, so I’m just trying to clean it up and hopefully slow down the rust for the future.

What can you say it's rust prevented and it certainly looks a lot better.....a win win if you ask me. The car is looking good dude and the paint looks fibulas.

Rustoleum is good paint. it'll last a few years. I used to many a metal roof with it under direct wind sun and rain. It lasted about three years before I had to paint it again. i did that over 22 years. It kept it from getting rusty and was still there when I sold the house. It was in a historical district

looks great not bad for spray paint. You are right that is a different engine probably a eightys I seen an egr block off plate on the intake manifold.

I have not had much luck with Rustoleum paint. I use paint from Eastwood. It’s a little bit more expensive but it is s as LL around better than most others.

If the engine was out and the front tires off! I could blast all of it frame firewall front suspension in 90 Minutes! that would be firewall forward! and it would look nice! but! where does it end?
