You know what this episode kinda reminds me of? The story of when King Solomon was approached by two women with a baby, both claiming to be the mother. Solomon said that because it was impossible to tell which was the true mother, he would cut to baby in half and give each piece to the women. One of them refused to let this happen and decided to let the other woman keep the baby so long as the child was okay. That was how Solomon knew that she was the real mother. The DA used a similar strategy in this episode, she put the girl under so much pressure that the woman that orchestrated the kidnapping decided to plead guilty just to get her daughter out of the courtroom. Sadly the law is not as kind hearted as Solomon was, so the 'real' mother still went to jail. The plus side is her daughter feels safe and happy with the parents that have been raising her and maybe some day when she grows up she'll decide to reunite with her biological mother.

Slightly off topic, but why do they never shoot the tires when someone's trying to make a getaway? Here for example, they were point blank range of that van, it wasn't moving at dangerous speeds, nothing in their line of shot but the van and the road and they had backup ready to pursue. Pop a tire with a few shots and he's not getting far. And before some smartass says "it's a show, it's scripted etc", doesn't change the fact that basic logic still applies. These are still supposed to be regular people after all.
To follow where he is going? That’s my guess, because when one of the police car moves forward but not all the way to block the guys way, just to slow the guy down and the other police car followed till he crashed into another car.
At the trial, Patty Branson takes the witness stand. She testifies that Michelle told her she was Patty's "egg mommy." Although Sarah Branson gave birth to Patty, the egg Patty came from was from Michelle. Eventually Casey asks, "You know what Michelle said about being your egg mommy is true, right?" Patty begins to cry and wails, "No. It's not true! Michelle's not my mommy! I don't want to go with Michelle! Please don't take me away!" She asks to leave the witness stand, but Casey says she can't until they're finished. Patty becomes more and more hysterical until Michelle can't stand any more, and cries, "Stop it! Just stop it!" Michelle then apologizes to Patty and says she'll never bother her again. Patty runs off the witness stand to her parents, crying for her mother. Michelle pleads guilty to custodial interference, and is given a suspended sentence. She decides to move out of state, because it's too painful to be near Patty and not see her. Olivia finishes auditing Norton's fertility clinic records. Michelle had extra embryos, 10 of which had been implanted in other women. In addition to Patty, somewhere out there Michelle has three other children, two daughters and a son.
I gotta point out the idiocy of these bounty hunters. After the failed snatching of Patty, you would think they'd be smart enough to lay low for a while. Instead, they try to snatch her in broad daylight at school when they should know the cops would be looking for them. Guy in the red cap was even more idiotic; wearing the exact same outfit he tried to snatch Patty in at the school. If he didn't want to be identified, he should have changed clothes.
From their perspective they were rescuing a kidnapped girl. All of the evidence pointed that way because unfortunately a doctor found money more important than ethics.
@@amariahlovelace5113 that maybe true, but after all that they went through with it so wrong. Ripping out the girl's hair from her head, and pretty sure planning a kidnapping. And the guy in van is a PI not law enforcement as well reckless driving. And I'm pretty certain they can't just the girl back to the woman pass multiple state lines, even if she is her mother. Any type of law enforcement would agree that's kidnapping
@@kopawhite1399Bounty Hunters tend to work on the fringes of the law and can get away with a lot of stuff normal cops can't. And lets just assume Patty was in fact kidnapped by the Branson's. They wouldn't have a leg to stand on to say she was kidnapped when they already took her. Bounty hunters can take children away from individuals who are not their custodial parent, even their own biological parent if he/she doesn't have custody, and return them to their custodial parent. As far as law enforcement would be concerned, they rescued a kidnapped child so the only thing they might get in trouble for is accidentally hurting the girl.

My favorite show to watch ❤❤❤❤❤
Abigail Breslin is such a great actress
The ending was so sad. they were willing to share, and she ruined it.
I appreciate my family members and my life more and more everyday ❤
I wonder if they stole my embryos as well
Who?
for those wondering, the day's color is actually red. this is because Captain Cragen and Fin are both wearing clothes with red
Its funny cuz Anna's mom is also the mom in switched at birth.
Wonderful!❤
This was a complicated episode to know how who the real mother is
This episode is so crazy and awesome

Abigail Breslin

I just said out loud "way to go munch"
Imagine biff storming in court.
Abigail Breslin was adorable back then.
Viola!!
Hey! Weve got to shout at you so you have time ro run before you notice us!
Yeah, after this both of these blockheads should have lost their licenses as PIs and arrested.
I starting to wonder if the little girl was kidnapped or saved
…. You didn’t get that from the title?
Ok. Too complicated.
This ended with the ways of King Solomon. Split the baby down the middle and give one half to each mother. Only the biological mother will do the right thing and spare the baby's life and let her go.
I do hope that Alex Cabot made taking the fertility doctor's license away as slow and paintul as she knew how.
What that mother did was not right, but still that doctor he took your eggs and put them in other people without her permission, Now she has a total of 4 kids that don't know who the real mother is. I know what she did was a crime, but still. She was also a victim in a weird way she needs help but still.
How is asking people to retrieve your kids not right though?
She succeeded ❤
😥 UNBELIEVABLE
can't the bio mom sue the doctor for what he did?
If she donated eggs, isn’t it up to the doctor who gets them? I’m so confused
@@Yzzamishe didn’t donate them. she signed a contract thing for something else, but she never agreed to donating. the doctor forged the agreement on the paper to make it seem like she did
@@Yzzamiboth women went to the same fertility doctor because they were both having trouble conceiving for whatever reason. The doctor used Michelle’s embryos on other women when they didn’t have any viable embryos of their own because he wanted their money.
This was sad
I knew he was right❤
I’m not judging, even if it’s gonna sound like I am but who the hell names their dog dinky like I’m sorry if I asked to pet your dog and you told me that was their name I would immediately walk away and stop talking to you😂❤ it is just the most weird choice for a dog name. The only time I would consider it being an OK name for a pet is if you get like a small, yellow bird and name it died because that was the name of like the small bird on Fox and the hound.😂❤
Isnt that the girl Princess Mia helps in Princess Diaries 2?
Where can I find the whole episode
I know at least Hulu has it
4:59 Listen Carefully to the Crash
👇🏽
What episode is this?
What if the kidnapped girl really was her daughter that would have been a better plotline
she is her daughter. in the end michelle decided to drop the case cus she only realised in the long run she’s gonna hurt and traumatise patty more than she already did. no children would rather be with someone claiming to be their “real parent” over the ones that has been loving and raising them for years now
@@hakaze6269I think they mean what if she was the daughter she lost.
Omg I might have to get IVF this frightens me
