Tough But EPIC Day on Lake Norman: Personal Best Catfish & Largemouth Bass! | FKA Tournament Recap

In this video, join me as I tackle my first Foothills event of the year on Lake Norman!
Despite tough competition with the BFL also on the water, I decided to launch at Blythe and it turned out to be a tough day of fishing.
The morning started slow with a few small catches, but everything changed when I landed a massive 14 lb. 12 oz. catfish - my personal best! Throughout the day, I managed to cull some additional bass and the wind made things absolutely crazy out on the water.
With less than 10 minutes left in the tournament, I hooked into a 5 lb. 1 oz. largemouth bass, also my personal best, propelling me to a 13th place finish! And I won the Big Bass award for the event! Without that big kicker, it would've been a horrible day, but I was able to salvage some valuable points for the season ahead.
