This car might finally be the car to replace my 2006 SLK350 Mercedes that I have owned for almost 13 years. I have looked for almost 4 years to find anything that I might like better (and affordable), and this might be the one. Thanks for this exciting video. She shows more excitement that any other video that I've seen for this car.
I agree with Just The Truth...I couldn't understand what she said but I could see and feel her exuberance especially accelerating in the corners. I just bought a M40i before Christmas last year...Dec '21...saw it online, bought it site unseen and had it shipped to my place and promptly garaged it until this coming spring...after seeing this video I'm so anxious for winter to end...since the fact she is a professional race driver and not a magazine writer and having this reaction to it's performance has me excited!! Looking for a warm open day in February!

No, not hard to control at all. My guess is she has all the smarts turned off, and is pushing it to the edge as well. It’s certainly is one of the best handling cars I’ve ever driven and I’ve been driving sports cars for 50 years. The only car that may beat it for handling is the Boxster, and the Z beats the Boxster in power, price and looks.
