Recent viewer here. Loving your podcasts. Lots of FOs, WIPs and Acquisitions so it keeps the podcast lively.
Welcome to our channel and thank you for the great feedback!
I am enjoying your podcast, and i appreciate being introduced to so many Canadian yarn sources! I’m in Vancouver and I’ve never heard of most of the dyers that you mention. I have 2 suggestions: 1) when you mention a pattern that you’re knitting it would be great if you could hold up the front page of the pattern so we can see a picture of it, and 2) when you are wearing sweaters that drape a bit or are fairly long, maybe you could stand up so we can see the whole garment. Please keep the episodes coming!
Hi Patty, thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback, those are great suggestions!
I’m a first time viewer, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of your knitting. I’ll be back!
Thanks so much for watching, glad you enjoyed the podcast!
My 1st time catching you two ladies on the Tube 😉. Your sweaters look great and little man's sweater is super cute! Has his dad been bad so doesn't deserve a big boy version?? Heehee! Anyway, happy holidays and I hope you continue to enjoy making these knit vids. And don't worry too much about the agenda. If you happen to sway from the agenda we won't know 😉, and it just may feel like we're hanging out rather than us all attending a meeting together. Although I'm sure we'd all much rather a knitting meeting than an actual work meeting 😜😆😂!
Thanks so much Melanie, glad you joined us. We are having a lot of fun recording and hope to be able to put together videos regularly.
First time watch for me also! I really enjoyed all the different projects & techniques. Thank you for all those beautiful (free) patterns as well.

Hi there, your channel popped up and I really enjoyed it. That you! Will watch the previous episodes.
Welcome to our channel Helen, glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank you Tammy....so glad you enjoyed your visit! Welcome to our channel!😊
Love your podcast!
Thank you Kristine and welcome to our channel!!
Here's another first timer. Enjoyed your show, but might be too late to join the mitten make along. It seems from your conversation that you may be somewhere in Canada. I'm from Ottawa. I had purchased the sock yarn from Leo and Roxy a few weeks ago, and now am encouraged to actually start the socks! Great to find Canadian-made. I noticed a link in the show notes to Little Red Mitten from St. Thomas. I have shopped there (I used to live not far from St. Thomas).
Hi Adrienne, Thanks for watching. We are about an hour from Little Red Mitten, and visit there quite regularly, it’s an awesome store. I think you will love the sock yarn, it feels amazing.
First time watching one of your videos! Very enjoyable and informative.
Thanks so much for watching Dana, glad you enjoyed the video.
Just found your podcast and loved it ... and am now subscribed! Nice to find fellow Canadians.😊 Cheers from Anne in Ontario
Thanks for watching Anne, and welcome to our channel!
I am a weeks' old knitter and decided I'm going to try everything - I'm halfway up a colorwork mitten and addicted. Happy to find your podcast.
Hi Melissa, Love your enthusiasm!!!! We are so happy to welcome you to our podcast!
I also just found your Podcast, I live in New Brunswick, home of Briggs and Little. Most of my friends who knit with it wash it first as this yarn softens after washing. It's perfect for our winters.
Hi Dianne, I love Briggs and Little. I don’t wash it before knitting, but love the feel of the wool and the lanolin in it. Perfect for knitting in the winter months. I do love how it softens after blocking.
We enjoyed vising with you from Norway
Welcome Norway!! 🇳🇴 So happy you have made your way here to share your time with us!
Just found you two! ❤️ I really enjoyed your podcast so much. Amazing! I subscribed & thumbs up! Thank you! ❤️❤️
Welcome Debbie and thank you for the wonderful feedback...so happy to have you joining in!😊

I just watched for the first time your previous episode and just started this one. I absolutely love the flow of this! I feel like I’m learning a lot and I get so encouraged and excited to start knitting all the things - what is sleep nowadays?
Laura.....this made our day! Welcome to our channel and there’s nothing we love more than an enthusiastic maker! Our latest episode should be live within the next couple of days.

You can get the English sock yarn at Woolly Thistle in the US! 🧶❤️
Thanks so much. I just received a Marie Wallin Kit from the Woolly Thistle for my birthday, can’t wait to start it, but have to finish Christmas knitting first!
Would love a tutorial on reverse colour work knitting. Loved your podcast!
Thank you Kim.....the tutorial should be ready soon!
Is the inside out tutorial posted anywhere? I am doing color work and want to use that technique. Thinking it will improve my color work.
Hi Nancy, the tutorial is posted on UA-cam on TheTangledStitch channel. Enjoy!
Hey, I am discovering your podcast from France, (in Bordeaux) and you are awesome! I loved all your projects! and yes please, I’d love to be helped with some “how to knit inside out”!! Please!!!
Welcome France to our channel!! The tutorial should be ready soon😊
Loving so much knitting content in your podcasts! I’m a new subscriber and love the grey ragg wool socks so much but I keep missing the name of the pattern. Thanks!
Thanks Holly, The Work Sock Set is by Pamela Graham for Leo and Roxy and is free with the purchase of the yarn kit. The kit is available at www.leoandroxyyarnco.com or at littleredmitten.com
I binged watched all the episodes over Christmas! I love this podcast. Where can I find the sleeve you used for your hand made socks? I think you said it was a PDF? Is there a template I can buy?? Can't wait for the next episode!!
Hi Lesley, welcome to our channel and we’re definitely feeling the love!💜 We’re actually podcasting today so there will be a new episode up this week! The sock label is from my Etsy shop and you can find me as TheTangledStitchShop. Happy making!
Awesome!! Thank you!!
Love the podcast ladies! I was curious to know what colors/ number of the Noro Askari yarn you have shown?
Thanks Angela. The colours of Noro that we have for our next Night Shift shawl are colour 16 (corals and green) colour 7 (natural and beige) colour 5 (light greens and grey). We are both using colour 16, Kelly is pairing it with colour 7 and I am pairing it with colour 5. Both of us already have a Night Shift in Akari, mine is in colours 9 (pinks) and 1 (greys) and Kelly’s is in Colour 1 (greys) and 2 (blues)
Just found ur podcast 💕👍. Would love to see the thumb knitting inside out. Happy safe Holidays
Welcome to our channel , we hope to record the video on inside out knitting soon. Hope you have a great holiday season!
Another Canadian podcast! Lovely! Some wonderful patterns featured. You may be interested to find out more about John Arbon Textiles/Yarns, a lot of history behind them and their very precise decisions for the colours, the naming of the colours and the labels and that old style look. Also many podcasters perhaps dont know that there is, on Google, a pronunciation site www.howtopronounce.com/ You can type in the words, especially useful when trying to pronounce European and Scottish yarns, and voilá, no more butchering of names 🙂
Thanks so much for the info. I am looking forward to working with the John Arbon yarn, I’ve also purchased fleece from them and hope to get started spinning after Christmas. Will check out that website for the pronunciation.
How are you girls working the pattern with two yarns..when do you switch? I bought two of those balls. Love your talent and friendship.
Hi Carol! Thank you so much for the feedback and welcome to our channel. I think you are asking about the Nightshift Shawl using the Noro Akari? If so, just start the shawl choosing an A and B and then alternate them every 20 rows or so. There are no hard and fast rules here....once you get started you will get a feel for the project. Enjoy!
Can't seem to wrap my head around knitting colorwork in the round from the wrong side. Would be wonderful if you should make a short video about it. Thanks!
Hi Charlene, we hope to have a short video tutorial ready soon.
Tuffy makes great slippers! Uppsala Slippers by Fibrely :)
Thanks Jan, looking forward to trying it, will have to check out that pattern.
I love your sweaters.I do my stripes like you do. I love a pattern for your sweater. I’d like a link to buy the sock yarn.
Hi Annie, thanks for watching!! You can purchase the Leo and Roxy work sock yarn at www.leoandroxy,com or www.littleredmitten.com We were wearing the Love Note sweater by tincanknits The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry and on tincanknits.com
First time watching/listening; absolutely love your podcast! So much information/patterns and talent!! Would love to hear more about the knitting inside out.
Thanks so much for watching! We are planning to do some short tutorials on some of the techniques that we talk about in the podcast, including the knitting inside out for colourwork.
Hi I’m new to your podcast and I’m really enjoying it. With the night shift shawl did you alternate the skeins while you were knitting it I lave the idea of using the Noro yarn as I can purchase it here in Australia. Cheers Lisa 😊💕
Hi Lisa, thanks so much for watching! WHen I did the shawl using the Noro Akari, I alternated the two colours every 20 rows. You can adjust this towards the end depending on which colour you have more of for the last rows and the bindoff.
@@KnitsnPieces Thank you 😊💕
Please do a show on knitting inside out. I have knitted stranded mittens before but they are a little tight even after I bloke them
Hi Debbie! We can put a tutorial together for sure. Thanks for watching!
What a sweet bag.
I had no idea that Kelly was making this for me, I absolutely love it. Perfect size for essentials and a sock project!
This is my first time here, what a great video, you ladies are upbeat, very creative and Canadian! I too love Briggs and Little's Yarns, they are rustic and beautiful colors, I'm also an Arbon Textiles Mill Member, couldn't help meself! Thank you for the good information and the good entertainment, lots of laughter, I like that.
Thanks so much for watching! I have considered becoming a mill member also, especially now that I am going to learn to spin. They have beautiful fibre as well as gorgeous yarns!!
Love your Nightshift, where did you purchase your yarn, thanks
