Thanks for such an informative podcast. You are both so creative . You exude enthusiasm in all you do. Thank you! Thank you!!!❤😊
Thank you so much!
I look forward to Wednesday mornings because I watch your podcast then, love all the tips, love all the projects, love all the yarns! Thanks!
Thanks so much 😊
The two of you are just so creative, not only with knitting but the sewing, the weaving, it's tremendous! I think I'm the only person in knitland who just can't stand those little scarves 🤣 More for the rest of you. Working on a nice big shawl as I watch. Happy summer knitting!
I'm with you on those scarves :)
Aw, thank you Sheela! But you knit your big shawls so fast...I'm in awe!
Love the longer podcasts!!!
Ladies, your podcast is truly a highlight of my week that I look forward to. Thank you for reviewing again the stitch and row calculations. Have a great week!
Thank you so much Andrea, we feel the same way!
Thanks as always for a lovely visit to the Knit Chat Cafe
You are so welcome!
Feel free to chat as long as you like. I enjoy all your chats:)
Thank you Brit, that's very kind. Happy Knitting!
Kelly, your bra was very pretty and it was adorable watching you blush. Noelle I love that light green used to knit your sweater. That sweater is one of my favorites.
Thanks Shirley, the Margaux top was really easy and fun!!
Great video today. Love your knits and your chatter. 🇬🇧
Thank you so much!
That unintentional bra flash must go down as THE golden moment of all your shows😂 Laughed so much, sorry hehe
Well, it's a little more funny today but I was mortified when it happened...I will be more careful moving forward! lol
❤❤such a fun episode🎉🎉🎉
Early morning on deck with you both and coffee and socks,,, 🧦
Oh how perfect,,,!!!to start my day,,
Elaine 🏠💕
Great idea!! Perfect start to the day!
Happy Day Late!!! My notebook has another filled page...LOL Every time you mentioned Cardi I cried a little :-)
Oh no Karen, I wish you were able to buy it, it makes amazing summer garments
Thanks for all the wonderful information and inspiration.
You're so welcome! Thank you for joining us in the Knit Chat Cafe!
You two are amazing! I wanted to make you aware, in case you didn’t already know, that Paton has a linen/cotton blend. It comes in 100 gram skeins. I live in the U.S. and paid $5.99 for 1 skein on Joann’s website. Take care! Cindy
Thanks for sharing this Cindy!
Another great episode to keep me company as I knit on my Artus shawl. It is huge and probably not the thing to knit when the temperature in North Carolin is hovering in the mid 90s but I want it off my needles so that I can work on a few summer tops. Your tops look great! This seems to be the time for Sandnes Garn Line. I made the Rota top using it, and I love the yarn and the sweater. I am going to try to make another Rota with just the cabling on the sides with either Line in blue or lime green. I also have black yarn for a Tolsta tee. Oh, and, now that my sewing machine is back from the shop, I have sewing to do. So many things to knit and sew, but so little time. Happy making!
Hi Delores, I am really enjoying my Rota top, I can easily see making another one.
Another great podcast. I'm working on the Shorty Heel Tab socks as I watch your show.
I just can't stop casting them on!
I am watching after the live for the first time after the event and enjoying the chat just as much as ever. Kelly, a bra is just a swimming suit top. No worries! Noelle, how long are your threads when you warp up your loom to get the three tea towels? I have the same loom and I am always guessing which I don't like. Love all your projects and tips and tricks. Stay cool!
I use a warp of 117” The towels are 30 inches plus 1 1/2 in on each end for the hem so 33 inches each then an inch between and the rest for the tie on. hope this helps
@@KnitsnPieces Yes! That really helps. Than you so much!
Another lovely evening with Kelly and Noelle. Always enjoyable and entertaining. Excited to see your Kindness shawl grow Noelle.
I am really enjoying it Brenda, thanks so much for the pattern ❤️
Great podcast as always 🧶☕️😊
Thanks so much!
Thank you again for the lovely time together and especially the little sweater math lesson which will be helpful for sure.
You are so welcome!
Thankyou Noelle I so needed this row gauge math. I have just cast on and I want a tighter gauge so my rows are shorter 🎉❤.
Glad it was helpful!
Very much enjoyed your vlog.
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks for watching.
Loved the travel vlog Kelly so keep those coming! Great job on your dress too - i was wondering if Thread and Sprout was your inspiration. I follow her too - just a whimsical designer! Love all your knits Noelle - that Rota top has been in my wish list since it was published. Looks gorgeous on you as does the one you are wearing. Thanks as always! :)
Thanks Beth, the Rota top is a great knit and perfect for this time of year. I purchased some Antigone this week and can’t wait to try it. All your garments knit with it look amazing.
Kelly's sweater with summer silk from Berroco there is another yarn with a 92%match is Rico Design Fashion Silk Blend DK and is also a chained yarn
Thank you Janet, I will mention that next week!
It snowed last night here in Canmore, Alberta 👍
Oh no!!! And we're in a heat wave!
Very fun to watch you ladies! I can't always make a Tuesday but I watch later. The tank Noelle is working on reminds me of something I struggle with. I see that many popular tees and tanks are knit in the round with front & back portions knit flat. With plant fiber yarns, I see a distinct line when I do this because of my gauge difference in the round vs flat. I usually change needle sizes to minimize this but sometimes I can only get close to matching my gauge so I can still see a line where the fabric changes. Patterns usually just mention 1 needle size so I'm curious what your experience is.
Thanks Evelyn. I usually don’t see a difference in gauge when switching from in the round to flat and continue with the same needle size. I will bring this up on the next knitchat and see if others have any suggestions
There's quite a jump in the video at 33:08. I was waiting to hear more about Kelly knitting the Melody sweater (other than the suggestions about alternate yarns), but the video suddenly jumped to Noelle's sweater discussion.
Sorry, I'm not sure what happened there. You can find the details on my Ravelry page.
Love the dress! Super cute❤
Thank you!!
Kelly I love the neutrals 😅
I've been tempted by those tiny scarfs but haven't taken the plunge yet 😊
They're so wearable...and quick!!
Love your chats. 😊get very inspired as well. Cheers from Oz.
Thanks so much!
Lovely knits. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Almost made it to the live! Hi from South Gippsland. I enjoyed your company over my lunchtime knit time. I’m definitely a raccoon stacker 😊
Wonderful! And hurray for Team Raccoon! We get the job done!
Hmm, I'm torn between the Margaux and the Rota...I'd like to knit one or the other 🤔
I really enjoyed them both Sandra, I don’t think you can go wrong with either
I’m a Scorpio also😊😊😊
Yeah Scorpios!!
You both have beautiful knits!
Thank you so much Dana!
I'm making the Elise scarf thank you Noelle bought muskox yarn $90 for one tiny ball of laceweight yarn. 😅
Susie, that will be the most beautiful scarf! Enjoy every minute of making it!
Kelly, your bra flash was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. And, btw, your bra is really cute. 😂
Happy to entertain! I went back after to watch and the look on my face...mortified!! LOL
Love the weaving! Noelle - how do you hem your towels?
Thank you!!! I machine zig zag at each end and then do a double fold and hand sew the hems.
I have what I thnk is a basic question. How do you measure the size your item is to be blocked to. Thanks
Good question! We covered this question in tonight's episode (Jun 25), let us know if that helped.
Idea for the mini meet up?
Looking forward to it!
Do you have a link for the melody top?
The details are on my Ravelry page.
Don't worry, Kelly. A braw looks no different from a bikini top, and no one is concerned that their bikini top is seen. Besides, at least you wear a pretty bra. If I flashed mine, people would be appalled. It's old and badly stretched out of shape. Lol.
I agree - I need to up my bra game! Another great episode ladies!
Thank you! That's very kind....I think I was more embarrassed that it happened and not that brief second that it showed! This is how the horrible memes get started, lol.
