    I feel like if you could just push yourself to workout, even when you are tired, that it could help in your sleep quality. Believe me, many times, I’m tired or just don’t want to workout that day but I never, ever, regret a workout. Maybe just walk or move your body. There’s nothing like a good sweat session.

    Hi Jess! I’m so sorry this is happening to you. Ugh it’s so miserable to have no sleep, especially for us girlies that require more. This actually happen to a family member of mine, she went through a period of time where she struggled with insomnia. Come to find out it was her hormone levels, they were all out of whack! Her doctor put her on vitamins and supplements to balance everything out, including magnesium. It had worked wonders for her. Praying you find answers soon and praying for a restful night of sleep!🙏🏻🥰

    Hey Jess! I’ve debated commenting about this for days now but I just feel like it may be really helpful and I just feel like I really should say something😂But, after I lost a significant amount of weight I noticed I couldn’t avoid my anxiety that I’ve always struggled with anymore. It was like because this physical thing was being solved, my mental health really pushed to the forefront. I was so scared of ever trying an anxiety medication because I really don’t like taking medication outside of like the occasional Tylenol or ibuprofen. But, I finally spoke up at my doctors and got on a SSRI and it completely helped with my anxiety and my sleep/overall peace. It’s a very low dose but it’s helped to not have me up at night feeling anxious and overthinking. I also think it’s helpful with social anxiousness and stuff (from watching your videos I know you’ve been open about your struggles with that) and I really do recommend discussing it with your doctor if you think it would at all be helpful. I had to tell myself that if my kids needed a medication to sleep better or just be happy/healthier it would be my top priority to get it for them. Anything to make them feel their best. As moms, we have to remember our feelings and health are a priority too! Anyways, I truly hope your sleep improves regardless of what you do.

      I need to make a video about this. I absolutely agree. I started struggling with feeling really anxious and sad several months ago and went in and talked to my doctor. He started me on some medication that has really been helping. I haven’t talked about it on YT but I need to. It’s so common for so many of us. ♥️

    Good morning Jess! I'm sorry about the sleep issues. I feel like so many people struggle with this. I know for us, we have had a lot of issues because of our kiddos. But I have to say, I started walking every day and I feel like it is helping me with falling asleep at night. I hope you a have a wonderful day and get some rest!

    I'm saying this at 1:48 in the morning... 😂 Cut out caffeine. I know you love coffee, but it might be time to switch to decaf. Take about 10 deep breaths while trying to doze off.... get back in the routine of waking up earlier and not sleeping in. Good idea to put the phone out of reach! Best of luck....

    I can not take Melatonin. I have the opposite reaction to it, it wires me instead of making me sleepy. Benadryl does the same thing. Also, depending on the SRI your dr started you on recently, that may be a culprit too.

    Sleep is soooo important but so hard to consistently get. I know there’s conflicting information about blue light etc. I’ve found that if I wake up during the night and I just turn on a UA-cam video it will reset my brain and I’ll be able to get back to sleep. If I wake up again and don’t go right back to sleep I’ll do it again. I don’t know if the glow of your screen would bother David but honestly it’s the ONLY thing that works for me. Also add a low dose vitamin do to your magnesium (I take two magnesium glycinate every night and that helps me too. Best of luck.

      That’s what I have always done and it’s causing me to have more restless sleep, I think. It’s hard to get out of the habit of it, though.

    A very low does Xanax at nighttime changed my life and being able to sleep and turn my brain off. You sound like you have adhd like me and Xanax gets a bad rep but it was invented for a reason and it helps so much. The noise in my brain actually stopping so I can sleep saved my life. I would look into it

    Sleep issues are the worse. I’m sorry Jess. I ended consulting a sleep therapist which did help. I can say it comes in waves and this will pass I promise. ❤

    I've struggled with insomnia for years. It may be hormonal! Perimenopause can definitely cause sleep disturbances. I would recommend cutting back on caffeine after 1 pm. I know you've said caffeine doesnt effect you, but you might be surprised to see how cutting it back will help. Also keep working on your evening routine. If you can get a solid evening routine and go to bed at the same time every night it will really help

      Your lower weight may cause caffeine to affect you differently.

    Jess i understand what you are going through i have has tinnitus and sleep problems for over 20 years ugh we found liquid Sleep aid its called 8 dont have to take it every night and it works i wake up refreshed i have gotten it at Wal-Mart and Walgreens i dont like taken medication my advice ive tried melatonin didnt work at all doctor gave me pills i read it could cause dementia not for me i have 2 close friends in the beginning of that no thank y9u. It was sometimes 2 days awake i dont want that anymore. Prayers are sent my dear

    Dr. Charles Stanley mentioned in one of his messages, Read you Bible before your go to sleep, the it will be the last thing on your mind. I know you mentioned you do your Bible reading in the morning, maybe just read a Psalm at night. Like Psalm 23, Psalm 46:10, Psalm 136, etc. Psalm 4:8 "In Peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord make me dwell in safety." Sometimes the harder I tell myself to fall asleep, the more i stay awake. I take 2 Tylenol PM at night every once in a while if I go through a time when have trouble sleeping. I will be turning 64 in about 10 days. I wake up regularly at night, because of hot flashes.

    Dear Heavenly Father,
    In you we seek our rest. As we lay down to restore our bodies with sleep we need to be our best to serve and praise you, we ask you to wrap us in your peace and calm when we close our eyes. Help give our minds the freedom to lay aside the thoughts that crowd our minds to receive the healing and refreshing that comes from the rest that you give us. Thank you God that you are even there in our nighttime and care about us and we thank you for the home we have, the bed in which we lay, and that our family is tucked safely inside, and we thank you for another night wrapped safely in the shelter of your wings. In Jesus name amen.

    I hope you don’t stop talking about your struggles with sleep or your families issues. All of it is so relatable and real life. I struggle with it myself don’t have suggestions to make it better unfortunately. The way you talk about it is so relatable to mine and my own family doesn’t deal with it the way I do but your family does. I love hearing little snippets of what the kids are saying they are all so funny but in their own ways. The hello fresh meals look good. Laila is adorable.
