When i went shopping for my last car before i even looked at them i called my insurance agent to see how much coverage will cost i also look up make, model and year online to see if there was any major issues reported or recalls. When making a large purchase like a car you should do all the research you can so you understand the financial decision your making.

Why do people give a deposit AND THEN get insurance quotes or have it checked out by a mechanic afterwards? Being unable to insure it is her problem, not his. He'll probably have to give back some of the deposit, but she should have to forfeit most of the deposit due to her own stupidity.
Actually insurance on smaller cars like that is ridiculously expensive. They're usually a total loss when they're wrecked and the occupants are hurt/killed. Therefore it cost insurance companies more.

If he had stood there silent, he wouldn't have paid the plaintiff anything. All depends if you can live with yourself by not telling the whole truth at the risk of getting caught. She never even asked if it got sold. She can have 10 IDENTICAL cases and make 10 completely different rulings! How did this show last for so long?
