I just bought the 24oz. maybe 25-30 minutes ago at cvs for about 15$. Got home cleaned it filled it with water from my 5 gallon PRIMO water dispenser and a regular glass to do a taste test and the rubber mouth piece makes the water tastes weird. I unscrewed the lid , unscrewed the straw and drank from the bottle with the straw and it tasted fine. Not a fan of the rubber mouth piece. also don’t know if I got a defective one but when I drink from it it struggles to pull water up. Everything else about it is great.
great bottle, had the same one, except for all Contigo bottles with this design get mold in the hidden part of the spout that you can't get to. we don't use any of their bottles that use this design and wont until they make it possible to remove and clean that area. Currently trying to pry it out is more like to damage the spout and good luck getting it back in.
@@DigitalDavid I did finally figure out how to take it apart but it’s a bit hard to breakdown and to get to back together. At least in the end I could clean it but it should be easier to do designed to make it more friendly to clean.
I was just thinking of getting a sport water bottle for work that I can quickly sneak a sip here and there while working. I work in a restaurant and we’re not allowed to have drinks within sight of the guests. I saw this bottle in 32oz on clearance at Staples for $10.26. I just tried it and it’s perfect. It allows me to suck up the water and chug without having to tip the bottle back which could take more time and be less discreet. I can chug inconspicuously in the corner. I like this feature. I do notice snapping the spout down into the well has to be done a certain way, by not pushing down on the silicone tip but rather lower at the base. All in all I hope it will last long enough to help me survive through my shifts.

I hate this water bottle. I have it for about 4months. When you press the spout release button... the god damn thing ALWAYS sprays whatever fluid you have in it at you
Same but mine doesn't spray like that anymore! Not sure what happened but I'm guessing if it happened to you and still is then it's some sort of design flaw? 4-6 months is about the lifespan of every water bottle I've owned for 1 reason or another 🤣

Mine doesn't have a taste so maybe run it through some warm water and dish soap??
