I really like the ‘Edelweiss’ edition at14:55. Nothing is more indicative of the alpine region than the Edelweiss flower. Your whole collection is just out of this world. Let’s see, how many SAKs have I got? Maybe 6...
Note, S.A. Dan: My two 91 mm Golfers *do* have the hook (it's not just the newer Compact). A definite favorite here; and not for the fairways & greens. FYI, all.
Now i know that farmer are already build long2 time ago..so so suprised about this..thanks for this knowledge, iam asian not much know about european..thanks.new subs~
Dopeee! So since you have so many I have a question. I only started collecting I have 3 mini sd (1 is a city mill hardware store Hawai’i skin) also 2 tinkers, and I just got a cybertool 34. I was wondering like how often do I clean them? Rinse and scrub in a bowl of warm soapy water, rinse all soap out, then dry out and re oil
I don't think Wenger delivered any Alox Soldier in 1961. Actually, not even in '62. As far as I know, they made the first Alox Soldiers in 1963, and I believe in that year they still made some Grillons too. My understanding is that Vic didn't produce any Soldiers in '60 and '61, in those years Wenger delivered the knives to the army, but still the old model 1951, not Alox yet. As it was Victorinox who came up with the design of the Pioneer that was the base for the Alox Soldier, in my opinion it would have been strange if Wenger would have produced it earlier than Vic.
Thanks, Miklos. Du hast recht. You should make another video that includes EVERYTHING you know. I could probably be more prepared w/ my videos but usually do it off the cuff from memory. Looks like there are no alox '61's by either company that I can find proof of (June '62 for first delivery of Vic, Wenger was "directed" to start producing alox in '61. Wenger lost their records in a fire. After much digging, I have found no proof of any '61 Soldier, and only Vic in '62... but that doesn't definitively mean a Wenger alox '62 does not exist...) It could be the subject of the last Indiana Jones movie, ya know?

Question. I’m looking for a 1982 soldier. Any idea how much those go for? I can’t find any on eBay.
I'm sorry, but I don't have one. Are you a member of multitool.org? I would keep trying with eBay as well, they don't tend to last too long on there
Also try Facebook Swiss army knife collectors groups
Thanks for the reply! I’ll have to check those groups out. Man this hobby is getting addicting! Lol. I love your videos. Keep up the good work.
