Hey everyone! Josh here with a tutorial on how to get the perfect soft, silky, smooth, studio quality narrator voice for voice overs and podcasts in Adobe Audition. I don't go in to the details of what the exact methods I use do but you get the general idea. I'm no audio expert but I think my voice overs sound good enough that I want to help people in the simplest way I can explain.

Not sure. Any applied FX to the audio track when you import it don't show up on the effect lists on the left side. I'm not an Audition expert unfortunately or I'd be more help

I have no game grumps in my AA any help? how can I add it
@@JesterSantos Pick any preset. Then you have to manually create a curve similar to the one shown in the video (it doesn't have to be exactly the same, trust me). You can play the recording in the background and adjust the curve in real time till you get something that you like.

Game grumps is missing in my dynamic presets...what to do?
I don't have game grumps in Dynamic processing. I'm using 2020. 13.0.7 Version. Any Idea bro?

This is fairly old and I've changed it up a good amount. I'll eventually make a new tutorial that doesn't use special presets and still sounds great

You won't need a pop filter for the Shure SM7B as it has one built into it.
Hi! I tried using this on a recording and it went great, but when trying it on a new recording I get a tonne of weird rumbling noise like I'm moving the mic? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Where to get the game grumps version? I can't find that option on my dynamic processing settings

Hey I do not believe VEGAS's audio FX can create this exactly. It can get close but it will be a little different. I'll see if i can make a tutorial on that in the future

What preset can I use intead of game grumps? It's not showing on audition 2018
That one is a custom created one. You'll have to make one similar yourself but it's not a deal breaker to not have it.
with the Game Grumps, you're compressing the highs, bringing up the lower parts, so how does the entire clip go from 12db to now averaging at 7db? you've clearly not included a step - likely amplify - as far as I can tell
