- I'm doing the Spanish version purely to be different and because I never realised it existed before starting to learn the guitar parts. I think it's just Dave that's different so guitar wise it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Steve Vai once again filling every nook and cranny with fills and licks and it was very fun to attempt to imitate. Just an enjoyable fun song in general and that's something DLR seemed to be a natural at. Loved the bass breakdown also, killer! Hope you enjoy!

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).

Great cover! as a Spanish speaker myself I can say the Spanish version of this album is super funny! I remember hearing it as a kid and couldn't stop laughing 🤣

@@kaori-himawari Yeah, the English version is more well know but I thought I would do the Spanish version for fun. The guitar is exactly the same in both thankfully.
Steve is so intricate in his little fun accentuations and doodles in this song. Such a fun era of guitar playing, pure love for the craft.

Thanks! Maybe not for the foreseeable future as I’m not a fan of the instrumental guitar music like that. I want to cover Eric Johnson, but again only the tracks that have vocals and are more traditionally structured songs.

I love all you do, I love the close ups on the guitar, I specially LOVE your tone and I wish you went into more details how you record and how you produce your tone, what amp, what effects etc etc... I have only thinked about cover "it's showtime" also by David lee roth but with Jason Becker on guitar... it is a though guitar song but im sure i can play that anyway. The thing that put off me is there are so many notes to get the song right and so many details that it will be a good amount of time in it ahahha 😅
