Bro I'm so glad I found your channel. I wanna get back into POD merch.
Back in 2017 I messed around with POD shirts on Amazon. I would try to rank for phrases that no one had uploaded shirts for yet. I found this untapped niche and made about $15k rev in a month out of basically no where. Unfortunately I hadn't set it up right because the tracking numbers weren't going through, so Amazon banned me. I was so mad about the whole situation I never even tried to get back into it until now. Looks like it's still a good way to make money. I want to go hard so I can quit my job and work for myself.
Let me know how things are going I tried making a business back in 2019 and actually did it but then got banned too 😅 so I stopped with dropshipping.
What did y'all do to get banned? Was there a warning beforehand? The people wanna know.

I basically followed this strategy starting a couple of weeks ago. Kittle for design, augmenting my niche style and messaging and altering templates. Using Printful for fulfillment. I find Kittl has better mock-up options than the print fulfillment. Connected account to Etsy store. Right now Im being a little greedy listing prices a tad higher than what was detailed here. I've also ran a couple of Facebook/Instagram ads as a test. They are driving a bit of traffic with a very modest budget. So far, no conversions, but it's only been a week. Starting Instagram and Facebook brand accounts from scratch as well. So I'll be busy connecting and following and engaging to hopefully drive followers to compliment the very small advertising. Been a fun project as I like the design and creativity. Hoping this pans out to sales some day.

Thank you for taking the time to teach us about POD. Quick question, when open my stores should I use a PO BOX or my personal address? Also, should I use my personal bank account or open a new bank account with a different bank to recieve payments?
I used a P.O. Box.
You could use your personal account to start and get a business account once your sales start becoming more consistent.

I think People are out of there minds using Printful and Printify! I use pod companies that are way cheaper and my profit margins are way higher!

Create the listing on the pod platform and have it integrate with Etsy and automatically post it or manually create a pod listing and sync the sku to your existing Etsy listing

You can upload the mockup photo right on kittl and place the design on it then download the image
The Kittl fonts are royalty free right? You can use them freely for the products of any platform?

Wzup Rich, quick question. After you get name and logo of brand copyrighted do you have to get every design and wording on a t-shirt copyrighted too, or is that fair game?
You could get it trademarked, but I don't really do all of that until I get sales first and see how worthy the design is and if people are actually ripping it off...

Print on demand wise, you would just order it to yourself
Do these print on demand companies handle customer issues? Such as they shipped wrong size, package lost in mail etc.
I'm looking to do this as a side gig to my main businesses. I don't have time to take calls about issues all the time.
You will still have to do customer service.
If they sent out the wrong size, the customer will reach out to you, you will reach out to the print on demand service.
Is there a way to start this type of business without having a registered company? please make a video on how and which way to go for us beginners without any registration numbers and etc...
You don’t need a business registration for Shopify or Etsy to start

What is the comparison from this and using Alibaba to make our designs ?
You will be holding inventory with Alibaba instead of printing it as the orders come in, but Alibaba will have more unique customizations for you
