Alot of surface rust under there maybe a good idea to clean it up with a wire brush and a coat of lanoguard or waxyoil

It’s was the part 2 video when lee drove it to the MOT station and you met him there and he said it sounds like it’s got engine knock but it definitely sounded like it was Rod knocking when you booted it and you broke down cause the alternator was shagged

Id deffo say fix the yaris get it motd n flip it for profit, not worth turboing, had yaris tsport ph2, turbod it and a rod went through, couldnt hold the compression. Imported a vitz rs from japan, that was a different breed. Complete different internals, all forged from factory.

Great video mate, I was wondering if you know could help me out. I got thr same car and at the back of my engine I got a coolent coming out of a hole. Is there suppose to be a pipe/bolt there? It's driving me mad
Not sure myself mate and not sure who could point you in the right direction either. You tried some Lotus specialists as I’m sure you already know but some of their cars have Toyota engines in 👍🏼

Personally the 1.3 vvti is the best engine for performance and economy 1st gear red lines at 35mph 2nd at 64mph and 3rd 95mph 4th 112mph and 5th 130+ never been able to hit the red line but there super fun cars I've never had a t sport that's been able to keep up as the 2nd only redlines at 55mph in the 1.5 if anything look for a 1.3 Sr that's the best engine but there not many about
