this aint Mai Tai....
uxm2009 and definitely NOT Don's Mai Tai
In fairness, it's close to Trader Vic's Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai (which is why you get something like this all over Hawaii)... but with those syrups and rums I wouldn't wish this on anyone outside the islands.

Dave Sturdy look up Dukes Mai Tai. i make it at home now. one of the bartenders told me to buy Hawaiians Own POG Juice. Kroger carries it in their freezer section. That said, the Monkeypod Mai Tai will knock you on your ass. Do a Google Search for the recipe
This is called a"Marriott Mai-Tai" and while it has it's merits it's nothing like a real Victor Bergeron Mai-Tai. If somebody puts fruit juice in your mai-tai beyond the juice of one lime just say "no".

I stayed at the Royal Lahaina Resort last year! I was at the same Tiki Hut Bar by the pool and drank that exact drink! It was AWESOME!

Had more than a few on recent Maui trip stood at Royal Lahaina and by far the best Mai Tai in Maui

It's everything but Mai Tai. The real Mai Tai is made with Jamaican rum, there is no OJ and Pineapple Juice in the Mai Tai, and there is no floater either. This drink is good to fool the tourists. BTW, Orgeat is pronounced "Or-Zsa".
