Napalm is an incendiary mixture of a gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical (usually gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel). The name is a portmanteau of two of the constituents of the original thickening and gelling agents: coprecipitated aluminium salts of naphthenic acid and palmitic acid. Napalm B is the more modern version of napalm (utilizing polystyrene derivatives) and, although distinctly different in its chemical composition, is often referred to simply as "napalm" Napalm burns at temperatures[4][5] ranging from 800 to 1,200 °C (1,470 to 2,190 °F). they have several songs dealing with the horror of war and their aftermath. to hell and back, about the struggle of Audie Murphy a highly decorated hero from ww2 (medal of honour, purple heart and many other), he had severe PTSD and was addicted to opioids after his many injuries... fields of verdun, about the senseless slaughter in the trenches of ww1. "en livstid i krig", dealing with the feelings and thoughts of a soldier going to fight for his country, I would recommend the live version of "en livstid i krig" from Göteborg Sweden, it is in Swedish but there are subtitles (not perfect but they get the message across)
Just giving a line from the song "en livstid i krig" "in fields where kin and friends fall no songs are heard" This is just one line, imagine the whole thing.
Goodnight! I'm from Brazil, I discovered your channel out of nowhere when I saw your reaction to the song Inside The Fire by the band Disturbed, I've been watching other videos and loving the way you react and the message you try to convey. I would like to ask you to react to some songs by the band Alter Bridge: "In Loving Memory (Live)" / "Wonderful Life & Watch Over You (Live At Wembley)" / "Blackbird (Live At Wembley)". Sorry to ask for so many songs but there are so many good songs with very good messages and I would like to see your reaction.
I worked with a Vietnam vet a while ago. His name was Karl. Nicest man you could ever know. He was a Green Beret in the army assigned to a scout regiment. So most of his missions were behind enemy lines. This song is very close to one of his stories. It was the middle of the night and he was deep in the jungle with his squad of a few others. They had the ability to call in for aerial bombardment from a C1-30 with a side mounted cannon. They were surrounded by enemies that were combing the jungle for them. So he gets on the radio to call for an air strike close to their position or they would be found pretty quickly. The pilot tells them that they won't shoot until they are sure of their position to avoid friendly fire. So Karl turns to the one guy with the strongest flashlight and tells him that he needs to stand up and turn on his flashlight while pointing it at the sky. The soldier says no immediately because that is a great way to get shot. Karl calmly tells him that if he doesn't do it, they will all be shot or worse. So the guy stands up and turns on his flashlight. Gunfire erupts from all over as bullets fly past him. So he drops back down into cover. Somehow he didn't get hit. Karl calls back to the pilot and finds out that they didn't see it and that they would need to use the flashlight again. At this point the enemy is still shooting in their general direction and Karl tells the soldier that he has to do it again. After some protest the guy stands up and flashes the light again with bullets flying past him. The pilot then calls back and tells them to take cover so the guy with the light drops into cover as the jungle all around them lights up with explosions. After the air strike they sit in position for a while before looking around. After a few minutes they see that is is safe to move to the extraction zone and get out of there. Karl was an amazing man who came back from that nightmare, got married, and made a family. He found a way back to happiness and could even share his darkest stories with me. In turn I shared some of my darker stories from my time in the Air Force. So like Amanda said, it is very possible to find happiness, even after some incredibly dark times. I am finding happiness with the help of my therapist, my mom, and even some friends online. There are people that can make space to hear your story and be there with you during the pain and panic that comes from those memories. Don't give up the search if you run into people who can't make space. Please don't hold it against them. Some people are suffering in their own way and likely are not ready to seek help. Don't give up. Don't believe the message from the military that you are just equipment. You are a person and you do matter. You are not a burden. You can be happy. Stay safe, friends.
I absolutely love Sabaton. I can't relate as I am not a soldier or anything like that. But their music is epic and goes through everything from heroism to the humanity. They tell stories of people. As someone who has been struggling for a very very long time with different mental health issues, I'd like to recommend some other bands. Smile Empty Soul has a lot of songs about substance abuse (bottom of a bottle) and abusive relationships (don't ever leave). Something more softer I can recommend is Bright Eyes (songs like Poison Oak, Feb 15th). If you want to try something other I recommend Dir en Grey. Their songs are in Japanese but there are videos with English lyrics (The Final, Embryo).
Being a soldier and an Infantryman myself I have to say that human beings are already killers, the Army just helps guide you in the right direction. Nothing is implanted but woken up. Great vid
considering you mentioned mental illness i thought of this song by them SABATON - To Hell And Back (Official Music Video) ua-cam.com/video/RhmHSAClG1c/v-deo.html To Hell and Back - Audie Murphy - Sabaton History 004 [Official] ua-cam.com/video/n0PriUnAJ3U/v-deo.html and many who were sent from the US were young and not prepared for what awaited them so many were broken and some did many things that are against the rules of war (throughout that war the politicians should take responsibility for all the war crimes that were committed there but also make sure that the soldiers received care for the rest of their lives but the politicians talk about having a strong army but when they are not usable as soldiers they are then forgotten they are in many cases an expense to be saved on)
I don't know if you've seen it or if you even like war movies. But "We were soldiers" the movie featured in the clip. Is really really good. And quite emotional.
I'm wondering if you would react to some of Paddy Pimblett’s discussions of mental health. He's a UFC fighter who has some pretty good interviews about mental health, saying things like "I'd rather me mate cry on my shoulder than be at his funeral next week". Here's a good example: ua-cam.com/video/jtW0byC28_s/v-deo.html There are other interviews where he's talked about his own mental health issues and about his efforts to remove the stigmas about mental health.
IF I CAN MAKE A FEW SONG SUGGESTIONS TO REACT TO 1.) COMA BY GUNS N ROSES 2.) THE KILL BY 30 SECONDS TO MARS. LYRICS VIDEO NOT THE ACTUAL OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO . 3.) LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL BY SIXX AM 4.) HATE ME BY BLUE OCTOBER
In Britain during ww2 we used a substance called petroleum jelly which was vassaline oil mixed with diesel or petrol where it wasn’t like napalm however it caused a chemical fire where the British, mounted these flamethrowers on their tanks the British used the crocodile whilst the Australians used a Matilda mk2 however petroleum jelly would act similarly to that of napalm where the bow mounted gunner would fire a jet of petroleum jelly much like a water gun, however the jelly would behave like syrup and would seep into small cracks and crevices as the liquid was poured at the enemy and the gunner would fire it for about five seconds before shooting again but as a flamethrower and all of that liquid that has been sprayed at the enemy were either covered in the stuff or would start dripping on top of them and then the napalm like substance would then ignite any and all of the nearby liquid whereas unlike a normal flamethrowers where it just spews out fire, this method can be used so the the, petroleum would be fired at a machine gun in a bunker and the liquid would hit the back wall, seep and flow down the stairs and into the hallway and down further into the hallway and into or nearby some of the other rooms like outside a barracks and so on and then the second burst ignites all of the liquid spreading the fire even further inside of the enemy bunker and if that didn’t work then another tank called the AVRE, would fire a two hundred mm high explosive mortar at either the bunker or enemy positions either demolishing it in the process or create a massive hole in which the flame thrower can gain access to the enemies inside.
@@MentalAmanda there’s a video although there’s plenty but yeh please look at Churchill crocodile and don’t worry there’s no blood, guts or violence or anything they’re just demonstration videos but they give you an understanding of how brutal these weapons of war are and why they were heavily banned after the Vietnam war where many would fight in the Korean War alongside other Churchill variants like the AVRE, and the up gunned black prince but mostly mk7s
my grandpa was a vietnam veteran, he died back in early 2023 he rarely told stories about his experience, and even when he did i was too young at the time to truly grasp or appreciate what he was saying my dad was in the airforce also but i dont think he participated in any wars, his job was to load bombs onto planes

You should check out either M-16 or agent orange both by Sodom. You should check the new Lorna shore ballad the lyrics are beautiful it's an emotional ride I teared up watching its called pain remains 1
I don't understand why people are so mad that they went over Vietnam they went over their to serve our country if they didn't they would of been over here to me I don't want them over here man I'm glad that they went over there because they would of been here we need to k them it happened along time ago let's move on and say what God said to love one another that is what we need to do people I will pray for peace in this world man love you guys what you did thank you for serving our country people
What the hell are you saying? But also, it was a total failure to be there. All we accomplished is getting young men killed. Vietnam is still communist. And we gave them and our own soldiers cancer due to Agent Orange. And the vets were treated like shit when they got home
Well now youre just goin to have to react to most of their discography. I think Soldier of Three Armies and Christmas Truce should be at the top of the list.
I knew you had done christmas truce already but I said it anyways. I even watched it when it came out..lol. Oof. So... Soldier of Three Armies for now..haha
so this is a fan made video using footage from movies Mel Gibson's "We were Soldiers once". they didn't show the brutal hand to hand combat or the Napalm strikes that was shown in the movie so you got lucky with that. my old squad leader was a nam vet M60 door gunner on a Huey he got shot down a few time while in country
Stepped willingly. . . I mean, considering the draft was in place, not exactly. And the reason that they were so disliked upon returning home, was because, well. . . they didn't save or protect anyone, but rather served the interest of a select few willing to throw away their lives for little. The heroes of Vietnam weren't some people that committed to last stands, those were the victims, the real heroes were people like Hugh Thompson, who stopped a massacre being carried out by US troops.
Will you please react to Rodney c Riley, living in the shadows…he’s an actual Vietnam vet singing about it, unless he those guys. And he’s real. Not made II, it is an amazing song, far better, than….this; lol
To my knowedlge the Vietnam soldiers getting spit on is more of a urban legend (or psy-op made up to galvanize people against peace protests). There isn't much documented cases of it actually happening, not here at home at least. And I can only speak for myself, but I think most people like me don't look down individual soldiers, but we dont understand why, with all the information thats out there, why people would still want to join up. Not to protect the country, not to fight against a invading force, but to basically create war and death only for resource power and occupation. Because that's all our military has done the entire time I've been alive.
My dad told me that he was spit on and he's among at least a dozen that I've heard confirm it from first hand experience. I'm not saying that I'm for war or that it's justified, but I'm NOT for bullying of soldiers.

Sabaton just released an emotional Motorhead tribute to the song 1916. It is mainly about the battle of Somme, ww1. 💚
Love that song! Big Star Wars fan and someone did a badass X Wing tribute.
they have several songs dealing with the horror of war and their aftermath.
to hell and back, about the struggle of Audie Murphy a highly decorated hero from ww2 (medal of honour, purple heart and many other), he had severe PTSD and was addicted to opioids after his many injuries...
fields of verdun, about the senseless slaughter in the trenches of ww1.
"en livstid i krig", dealing with the feelings and thoughts of a soldier going to fight for his country, I would recommend the live version of "en livstid i krig" from Göteborg Sweden, it is in Swedish but there are subtitles (not perfect but they get the message across)
Just giving a line from the song "en livstid i krig" "in fields where kin and friends fall no songs are heard"
This is just one line, imagine the whole thing.
you should definitely check out Sabatons Camouflage cover which is also based on the Vietnam War
Love Sabaton!!! And the video you're watching is using the movie We Were Soldiers, a great movie!
This song is awsom my grandpas was in veatnam this was sad
Nobody deserves to have nightmares! Neither friend’s or foe’s
Great reaction
Might I suggest "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Kix?
Being a soldier and an Infantryman myself I have to say that human beings are already killers, the Army just helps guide you in the right direction. Nothing is implanted but woken up. Great vid
Very interesting perspective!
You should also react to Hell and Back by Sabaton
considering you mentioned mental illness i thought of this song by them

and many who were sent from the US were young and not prepared for what awaited them so many were broken and some did many things that are against the rules of war
(throughout that war the politicians should take responsibility for all the war crimes that were committed there but also make sure that the soldiers received care for the rest of their lives but the politicians talk about having a strong army but when they are not usable as soldiers they are then forgotten they are in many cases an expense to be saved on)
as a non american...the "welcome home" for the boys is still a dark shade ....I talked to some friends in the US...VN was a turning point
Can you react to the song Dark Enough by Amanda Lopiccolo? I relate to it a lot...
I don't know if you've seen it or if you even like war movies. But "We were soldiers" the movie featured in the clip. Is really really good. And quite emotional.
Not sure if "Hate Me" by "Blue October" is something you might ant to look at. It touches on the damage drug addiction can do to families.
I'm going home to NY. Live in CO. I may decide to not come back
I'm wondering if you would react to some of Paddy Pimblett’s discussions of mental health. He's a UFC fighter who has some pretty good interviews about mental health, saying things like "I'd rather me mate cry on my shoulder than be at his funeral next week". Here's a good example: ua-cam.com/video/jtW0byC28_s/v-deo.html
There are other interviews where he's talked about his own mental health issues and about his efforts to remove the stigmas about mental health.
Asking Alexandria also has a song called Into the Fire. You should listen to their acoustic version on the Sumerian Records UA-cam channel. So good.
Billy Joel, "Goodnight Saigon". He wrote it with the help of Vietnam veterans.
IF I CAN MAKE A FEW SONG SUGGESTIONS TO REACT TO
1.) COMA BY GUNS N ROSES
2.) THE KILL BY 30 SECONDS TO MARS. LYRICS VIDEO NOT THE ACTUAL OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO .
3.) LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL BY SIXX AM
4.) HATE ME BY BLUE OCTOBER
Another emotional metal song about PTSD you may want to react to is 22 Gone Today by Death Dealer
You should react to volbeat. Great modern metal. Love your content!
That is insane!
@@MentalAmanda there’s a video although there’s plenty but yeh please look at
Churchill crocodile and don’t worry there’s no blood, guts or violence or anything they’re just demonstration videos but they give you an understanding of how brutal these weapons of war are and why they were heavily banned after the Vietnam war where many would fight in the Korean War alongside other Churchill variants like the AVRE, and the up gunned black prince but mostly mk7s
my grandpa was a vietnam veteran, he died back in early 2023
he rarely told stories about his experience, and even when he did i was too young at the time to truly grasp or appreciate what he was saying
my dad was in the airforce also but i dont think he participated in any wars, his job was to load bombs onto planes
They left out the mighty AH-1 cobra though, the other aircraft I worked on and worship.
Hand of Doom/War Pigs by Black Sabbath
Waking the Demon *Video* by Bullet for My Valentine if you were bullied

I've been dealing with bipolar for a long time and i would really love for you to react to TOOL PARABOL/PARABOLA one of best songs that helped me get through everyday problems
Please react to Hold on by Good Charlotte.
Water heats up at 100degres Fahrenheit but your right on napalm that stuff gets vary 🥵
You are stunning. Keep up the good work. =)
❤
Ahh yeah. Those beautiful skids, I worked on their cousins.
You should listen To Hell and Back it’s about Audie Murphy during the Second World War
Oh. Hello darkness my old friend. Haha. It’s just a part of life, nothing wrong with it, it’s just a state of things.
so this is a fan made video using footage from movies Mel Gibson's "We were Soldiers once". they didn't show the brutal hand to hand combat or the Napalm strikes that was shown in the movie so you got lucky with that. my old squad leader was a nam vet M60 door gunner on a Huey he got shot down a few time while in country
I probably wouldn't have taken such imagery well 💔 Thank you for your sacrifices.
should react to If I should - Jaytekz :)
I rarely supported war. But oftentimes the soldiers have absolutely no idea what they're really getting themselves into until it's too late.
react to this song pleas it is a good song by them. En Livstid I Krig by Sabaton
Scorpions, Tokyo Tapes, We'll Burn The Sky.
And that’s what all Americans do it for, I. The end. For family/country, their brothers.
Please do more five finger deth punch
try listening to "To Hell And Back" thats some real shit
Prove to me that your average sub, liker, sharer, supporter, gets content approved.
''Help'' but Papa Roach. Lyrics Video preferred.
💖👍👍❤️
DO INTO THE FIRE BY DISTURBED! THE SONG IS ABOUT SUICIDE AND THE MUSIC VID EXPLAINS IT:(
If you're thinking of inside the fire She already reacted to it ua-cam.com/video/FsqF_pLAEqs/v-deo.html
Maybe Brothers in armrs by Dire strais or rooster by Alice in chains is a better tribute

Listen Sabaton white death…
The Vietnamese were just defending themselves from American aggressors.
Not so simple, there were split at the time like Korean is today.
Communist spotted.
