I made these. One tip is to make sure the filing is not too warm else it'll just keep flowing out while you twist. And it's going to puff sooooo big in the oven so space the bun. The bun comes out superrrrrr soft and delicious and I love the crips of sugar.
I just made a few of these, an I'm really happy with the result (2/3 of the suggested amount made around 12 buns). They're soft and delightful and full of flavour! Hejhej! Glad to hear you are enjoying the recipe 😊 In this video Fredrik is using a convection/fan oven, but you can make them in pretty much any oven. If using a convection oven it is always wise to lower the temperature a little bit in the beginning and test-bake a bun or two - every oven is a little different!

Why do you call them freedom units? You *do* realize that the US is probably the only country in the world that still uses cups, etc right? I was just starting high school when Canada converted. Talk about confusing 😖

Yes! Loads of people bake a big batch and then freeze the spares for later. You can also buy bags of these treats that are frozen at the supermarket.

I make vegan version by just subbing the milk for soy or oat milk and using vegan butter, works really well!
