19:18 I love how Reynor moved the spore crawler through the protoss army and planting it in the middle of the army to try to kill the prism Bravest spore I've ever seen
I think he cares about that after all.. at end of the videos he always say something along the lines of "hope you have a wonderful day, don't forget to smile"
Lowko: "I'm trying real hard to be unbiased here!" also Lowko: "I feel like Reynor has to try SO hard to win this game, despite being massively ahead." Neeb: "I'm going to try to hold on with static that will never finish, 1 disruptor, 1 mothership, 1 carrier and a dream."
Lowko I find it annoying when every youtuber tells their viewers to smash that like button, however gently caressing the like button? That I can get behind. We shouldn't abuse the poor like button it needs love too.
Not only Lowko's videos are super entertaining the reason I like him so much is that he speaks very clearly and explains everything. I actually use his videos to practice my english (I have been hearing him for years now) and at the beggining I couldn't understand most of what he was saying, now after I took some english courses I can understand him perfectly. Hugs from Brazil Lowko!
That game 5 was intense, losing the 3rd to the cannon rush, losing like 10 swarmhosts, and then losing the lair. Yet somehow Reynor pulls out a victory from that position. Thanks for the cast Lowko, super entertaining.
That game 2 was so tight. Such great SC in 2021. Love the decision to just go across the map and see if he has a ground army when the huge flock of mutas shows up. That was such a strategic fight in front of the ramp.
I keep trying to pin down why I like Lowko more than most casters, and I think it comes down to three things: 1. A lot of casters focus on specific matchups at the start, while Lowko tends to give player history and current meta discussion. Small difference, but it gives context for WHY people open up the way they do, rather than just commenting on how effective it is 2. Trivia. Little things like "there's a dude in the missile turret. Why doesn't it cost supply?" and "I wonder where the critters are" add a lot of personality. Sure it doesn't matter to the match, but it does show the detail that went into the game 3. Relating things back to his own experience helps contextualize different builds and mistakes. Comments on mistakes and why they are mistakes (or why they aren't large enough to matter) or why somwthing is a clever play (or not as impactful as one might think) being talked about based on personal experience rather than just profesional meta is a bit more meaningful (and often more helpful). A lot of casters don't bring their own experience into it further than saying "in my opinion," and it's honestly a shame.
Neeb was awesome the play with keeping the hydra banes down the ramp with the force fields was phenomenal. He was going to win the last game but he got tired.
I think swarm hosts are the most fun units! The looks funny, waddle from place to place, and when played well can curb stomp more traditional fighting units.
Lowko keep being yourself, we love when you make random jokes and break out into song. The comfortable and relaxed vibe is so much better than the overly excited nonsense tournament casters are always doing.
Spire into a double stargate can work if you catch your opponent by surprise and kill the void rays before the phoenixes spawn than once you force phoenixes switch into corruptors. Teching right after getting mutas is just too greedy Imho. Corruptors in turn force either mass void rays or ditching the stargates all together and going ground, which Zerg can handle much better than skytoss.
1:06:10 Good trade for the archon holy crap this game was on a knife edge. What a series. What a frustrating way to lose for Neeb. Reynor just put a paperweight on his 'R' key and facerolled for like 10 mins straight XD
Lowoko about your thought for making carriers more microable so you can do more things, give them the ability to launch interceptors at an area and micro the interceptors as well after this the interceptors cannot be launched for some cool down. So you micro both carriers and interceptors, so they don't get killed as when a carrier dies the interceptors die.

The fact that void rays are a literal hard counter to probably over half of the zerg units is a huge sign of how OP they are. Obviously counter all ground units except for hydras and even then I feel like that could be argued. They hard counter Corruptors (literally a zerf anti air unit) counter mutas, counter broodlords for obvious reasons.
