I enjoy that the lighting in your videos is so much brighter now and the light blue background helps the colors to stand out more when you are painting in the camera view. Well done!

Thanks for posting this video. I'm half way through building a 1/35 Normandy dio' with 12th SS HJ grenadiers and a couple of vehicles and several of the figures will be wearing Italian camo' , so this video has become invaluable. Cheers Shane excellent work.

Thank you very much! I hope you enjoyed the video :)
SS 12th 'Hitler Jugend' Division used 'Italian Camo' at Normandy. (Excellent research by you there...) Fabulous tutorial as always, Shane. xx SF
Yes I know but to mention them direclty in the Vidoe would incur the wraith of UA-cam algorithm
@@longlance67 "Ahhhhhhhh! A fellow historian noticed!!!!!" xx SF
Very nice.I've seen Italian camouflage in real life with a much greener background too.It was in a private collection
Yes they can be a shade brighter though I preferred to keep it a little more subdued

thanks mate! really glad you enjoy them!
Nice painted figure and a great explanation of your used techniques. It’s a funny fact that I painted the exactly same figures about two weeks ago and made them a part of a video. Anyway, I like your work and can't wait for the next part.
Cheers Max
thanks Max! I will have to checkout your Panther videos and see how you went about your figures :)
Hi Shane this is one awesome figure painting tutorial mate as all your other videos are. glad you tell us what paints you are using cos it helps me big time to get back into figure painting again .cheers Gary from the UK 🇬🇧
what is that paint palette you are using? I have not seen one before that looks like that.
Its a homemade wet palette
What do you do with the left other paint that's left over?
I'm just wondering cuz I dont like to waste paint
the trick is not use a massive amount of paint in the first place to keep waste to a minimum, as sooner or later your wet palette will spoil and will be thrown out
there No link in video
linked now added to the description, thanks for the headsup!
am getting back into it after 25 yr away from modelling
