Jamie Olver i have autism adhd and sescorey processing and anger problems and u have inspired me to atucally be able too cook when my mum is not at home and make scramble eggs make and omelet there is just so many recipes I have done thanks to u I look up to u in cooking thank u❤
I made it today. It is cooking in the air fryer right now. (Made the piccalilli last night as they don't sell it in my part of the world.) Not difficult. Butter must be cheap in England. Next time I will probably use 1/2 margarine for the pastry.
Just wanted to say , I have followed your rise since you were sliding down a banister but have yet to comment. I love the simplicity of your recipes! Many times I could just remember the sequence and replicate it with ease. This pie is another example. I have used many of your recipes as a base or the way you suggested. Like the veg quesidillas from 2020 and the califlower mac and cheese. So easy and I much prefer home made to store bought. I am going to run out and see if I can find some picillily at the stores. Not as common in the US but maybe at the international market. Thanks for so many quick but healthy recipes!!
Apples and onions cooked together were Almanzo Wilder's favorite food in the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Granny Smith apples, onions, pinch of salt, fried in olive oil. Yum.
Made them yesterday. Absolutely delicious. Baked then in the oven at 175 deg C fan forced for 15-20 mins. Will make them again, but will use less butter in the pastry (just trying to lose weight)
Уважаю Джимми за вдумчивый подход к готовке. Понравилось рациональное использование бумаги для выпечки. Сразу экономия времени и воды (на мытье посуды). Талантливый мэн! 🏵👋
Starting to like jamies recipes never really noticed as i lived on takeaways my young life now that am older am starting to cook more, i like quick simple recipes especially after working 8 hours off hard physical graft (tree surgeon) i barely get time to eat through the day and my wife cant cook she has 0 motivation to cook as ive tried to speak to her about it and maybe teach her a few things that i know so when i get home there would be a meal on the table however shes not bothered, when i get home an starving and just want some homemade delicious quick food so these recipes are perfect rough and ready like he says in the video
Northern fish and chip shops used to sell Holland's meat and potato pies. I understand that they still do, but they say they are not as good. I don't know what kind of meat goes into them. Do you know a good recipe ? Similarly, Scotch meat pies are very good but what is the true recipe for them please?
This was not a pound meal since 4 pies you instantly took it to £4 if you see the FULL version he uses a Full jar of Piccalilli and blends it thinner. then uses half a jar here then a bowl there. we do not get shown the full costing of how expensive this is and really 1 pie and a tiny bit of salad is that really a filling meal. if you watch the start it states make meals for under a £1. then does not make all the meals for this instead to get it near a £1 increases the portion size in one case to 12.
i looked up the pies come in at £1.31 a portion. from the Full video. do not know why when they cut this video from the long version they cut off the costing. but 52p was for 6 walnuts.. I want to see you buy 6 walnuts in any shop. really i would drop them. and saying your only using 4 Table spoons of piccalilli is False there is far more than that
Plz stop being a chef your so bad not creative and you do a lot of things wrong. So what if you promote healthy eating if the food is bad. Why do you think you don't have a Michelin Star. Cause your food isn't that good.

Every time I watch, I feel more confident in my ability to succeed. This video has shown that success is built on learning and perseverance.
Still the best chef around. No frills. No fancy, exorbitant ingredients. Just simple, delicious grub.
Why you lying 🤥 🤣😂🤣

oh he and nigella lawson defines my childhood food fascination
Came for the interesting recipe and to learn something. Stayed for the inevitable comments from people who "know better" despite not having cooked it.
Can always use ground chicken, or quinoa/tofu

¿Qué salsa es esa que tienes en el bote y que luego echas en la batidora?
What is that sauce that you have in the jar and then put in the blender?
piccalilli
Originally East Indian but the Brits adopted it. An Indian vegetable pickle. Try to find, where you get international foods.
@@kellywalker7127 Gracias. Thank you
Hmmm idk about eating the apple cores but apart from that, mium!
england's doing great lol
❤❤❤

That takes me back Hollands puddings and pies from the chip shop. We used to take our own bowls to put the pudding in with gravy.
👍👍

Jamie we the people are asking what is "strong flour"? 🤣
It's basically bread flour - it has a strong % of protein
I don't eat pork, so can you do that with beef?
Or ground chicken
you can of course make the filling with anything. any meet or even mushroom etc.
👌💖
again.. how is that 1 pound per portion?
I know with the show in the past, some ingredients were presumed to be already on hand such as oil flour salt and others
Gracias Chef por regalarnos deliciosas recetas😊!

One hour: 2100 views
Whats picalilli? we dont have that here
Google it, videos on UA-cam…
If only they had invented Google.
See my note above on what it is and how to make it. It is not difficult.
😮🎉🎉
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
bro got bots typing for him
👍😋
Collab with uncle ...
I wish he'd have explained what piccalilli is...
I’ve been watching you slice apples like this for salads etc, leaving the pips in. You do know the pips contain cyanide right 🤷♀️
B21 actually, like almonds. Not harmful and has been used in cancer tx.
Looks good but pork it’s not for us sorry enjoy everybody with that
