@georginaadams4826 potatoes need to be a certain softness to be able to mash.proper mash in the UK is smooth and creamy.not lumpy.lumpy mash is caused by the potatoes not being cooked enough.20 minutes is the cooking time for potatoes unlike pasta that can take a lot less

Lol yes. Use the same water you boiled them in like with pasta. Really small amount. Potatoes will be rich enough from olive oil, cheese and pork juices. You won't taste the water
