They did have one other video for "Golden Destination" that was up for a day or so. Then it was blocked in this hemisphere. The same thing happened when they posted this video. It had something to do with the release dates of the new album. The video for "Golden Destination" had a lot of behind the scenes tour footage in it. I hope they unblock some time. Excellent reaction. These girls just shred. Midori (guitarist on our left) and Miyako (guitarist on our right) are both shredders, Their solo swaps are smooth like Dave and Adrian's solo swaps. Maiden and NWOBM was a big influence as are Ritchie Blackmore and Angry Monkeysteam (Yngwie Malmsteen's real name) among others. Miyako is also a classical pianist.

I have been following you for only a week, and have really enjoyed your reactions, I have a challenge for you, it's a bit like the blind taste challenge, find someone who has not heard of lovebites, and play them when destinies alline, in audio only, then get there reaction before showing them the the actual video, I think the second reaction will be priceless
My personal favorite is "Hammer of Wrath" off of their 1st album Awakening the Abyss. It is absolutely smoking!!! Sadly the only official video on the Lovebites channel is the studio track with a picture of the album cover. The only pro-shot live video with decent sound is Bloodstock 2018, but it suffers from some bum notes on the solos (probably nerves--on some fancams of other shows they outdo the solos on the studio version) and the drums seem miked funny. Still, that song in any form will take you back to 80s thrash metal bliss!!
They nailed Hammer at Wacken, the proshot was briefly available, then taken down. Killer version of killer song. And I think somebody has reactted to Hammer of Wrath from Battle in the East Dvd, worth checking that out. Update: so seems the Daughters of the Dawn dvd version was taken down too. But here’s a fairly decent fan cam Hammer of Wrath @ Wacken. And anything from Battle in the East DVD is worthy. Btw, keep in mind, Battle in the East, Wacken and Bloodstock are all in their first summer of playing live, only 2018. @@timgove5337 I think Shaun Stackhouse did a reaction to a decent version of H.O.W. so maybe that was Battle in the East or Wacken. The solos were stupefying whichever one it was, but the sound overall was still a bit lacking. Someone else did a reaction to Addicted off of the Daughters of the Dawn and I didn't think the sound was very good--it all sort of bled together. They are one band that (so far) I prefer the studio versions to the live stuff, but only because I don't think anyone has figured out how to record them live yet, not to mention their studio production is flawless!

This song is the faster version of 'ride the sky' from Helloween. I didn't realize it was similar when I heard it. The drummer is a Helloween fan. Shadow maker is also a Helloween type song, can't put my finger on it.
Thats World Class Shred. Better than 90% of whats available in the Industry. Every song is Insanely well written and just as Insanely well performed. Each member is a Graduated Music Major btw. They take their Music Quite Seriously. Our Western bands could use too take note. Try Lovebites Hammer of Wrath and Break The Wall.....

I love the end of the “Heavy TV” interview. Midori clearly wants to say they’re going to tour with Dragonforce, but it hadn’t been announced yet!
