Wish they would actually made a way for players to unlock the last sigil for the secondary quest after finishing the final boss too.

I love how you have to do side quests to beat really difficult bosses so that you can get items to help beat extremely difficult bosses
I don’t like that I have to look up vids to find them. I’ll miss whole areas just by not looking hard enough

@@ryanb746my problem isn’t the exploring mines more than since the snow area the maps have been massive and u go a certain way thinking it’s a side exploration thing and end up on the main quest somehow, I keep doing it and it sucks, cos then I’m too far to go back without wasting tons of time, but then I have this happen where I have missed a boss which is basically gonna let me beat the final boss really easily, the first and second maps were fine in terms of size but these next two as I’ve not got past the final boss here yet, the maps are just ridiculously big and u also have to fight so many things and get so far to get to another shrine half the time

I knew I missed something in the last area of Chapter 4, it was massive and this last area was easy to overlook. I got up to the Hundred Eyed Daoist Master and couldn't figure out why his last phase was so difficult
It took me 5 deaths on the last phase to realize it's not that he's hard but that we're severely nerfed.

basically reminds me of hunting for the wind tamer for yellow sage but harder.

@@NosferatuIbu when that butthole wind sage, turns the fighting area into a hurricane, the wind tamer vessel basically turns it off, so he cant cheap shot you with tornados or retreat outside of the fighting area and do surprise attacks. i only found out about this after my second day and it made a huge difference. but you have to use it when he summons the winds into the fight, so once he's 50% health.

I’m not at this point yet, but I’m glad you convinced me to get the game. I’m enjoying chapter2. This game is what lies of p was to me last year - an unexpected surprise with fun bosses.

After my partner and I tried our luck taking turns bashing the daoist and dying 752562626272 times I decided to look for help, and we've came here, followed the steps in this video and beat the daoist boss so fast its almost silly how hard we tried prior😅😂😂 Thank you for such a helpful guide!

I straight up was like 'I can beat the final phase' and kept doing it until I realized the sole reason it's hard is because your stamina is fucking half. When I saw that I immediately said 'oh this is another bullshit boss' and low and behold it has another god damn item you need to get.
Not really bs you have the option to make it easier or let it be harder. Y'all are so egotistical just say you weren't good enough and you needed help. You find more narcissist than the gaming community y'all's self awareness is so low you're on par with new borns

Thank you very much. I got stuck at this part of the game. I personally feel it's a design flaw that you practically can't advance without that needle making this pretty much a "required item". This game is a rare treat for me since exploration is part of the fun in the game. Therefore I am trying my best to avoid as many guides as possible.

Uuugh Duskveil was a pain
Took me 6x tries.
I found scorpion boss a lot easier.
Best advice for Duskveil
is stay under his feet &
use thrust stance

I love it. You have to be insanely hard boss to get an item to help you beat an incredibly hard boss a little little bit easier.
That second cave is a decent xp farm using the ashen slumbers burst then just running back to the shrine

So, I thought this boss was dark soul level lol. I did it without the needle. Phase two was driving me bananas. Respeced twice to find a good combo. Circle of fire ended up being key to winning for me without the needle.
If you are have trouble with the final boss my best suggestion would be to stay close to him. In his final form let him get off his initial attacks then close in and stay as close as possible during the fight👍

Oh man, it took me three hours to beat the Daoist without this needle
I struggled with scorpion, he was just too difficult at the time so went another route and accidentally came across duskveil. Proceeded to fight him and out of nowhere scorpion appeared which initiated the fight between them

Dont forget to break off 4 of his arms in the first fight by hitting from behind before beating him. You get arm armor if you do so.

Duskveil is really giving me a tough time, but I know the Doaist will be much harder if i don't beat him 😭
i beat him on the first try... i think i got lucky but i also practiced a lot on the 4th loong. 4th loong is insanely hard and it really helps in building your reaction time to boss hits. Not to keep stroking myself but i did not know where he was and i stumbled across him with half mana and half gourd. I ended the fight with 3% hp and no mana so that is why i say i got lucky as well.

If you are struggling with doaist then do this... it gives you level ups and material to strength yourself. I was struggling on his final phase and beat him after i got the needle on the first attempt.
I beat this boss and never got the needle
After a week of crying, trying to refund the game, giving up Chinese food, I can finally say that I beat duskveil with spell binder!
Lol im still trying ro beat yellow loong, that being said i went and fought the venomous daoist, i downgraded to my golden loong staff and i still almost had to let him kill me because i wasnt sure if i broke the required arms, its 4 btw if anyone wants to know. I was hiding in cloud step and the bugs ended up finishing him off. I was glad i got fhe arm piece tho.

I skipped scorpion king unintentionally and ended up at dusk veil, saw the epic fight during phase 1 scene and barely beat Duskveil during second phase on my first try. then went back to scorpion king site and he’s gone. Coz he died at the duskveil fight 😖😖😖
Why not say that it can be started from Pool of Shattered Jade?
Because most people cant FIND that shrine, so why wouldnt i show how to get to it first?

Hey @elbethium if I can offer some constructive criticism, this is really half of a tutorial and you do an excellent job up until you get to the secret area, but after that you just skip through everything and leave it up to the player. no disrespect the first half of the tutorial is great and if you had have kept going it would be perfect, perhaps do a part 2 as to where to go after the first boss fight.
