It was a load of fun + a real challenge to compose and play this solo, I got a lot out of it!

Had a blast composing this solo, has anyone else had a go at this as well?
Love your channel! Some very nice playing there on this piece. Thanks much for breakdown!
No problem, thanks!
Super talented Waylon, I’m enjoying the new content and how much knowledge you have to share.
Thanks Peter!
Love this. And great to see the solo breakdown / explanation.

Cheers!
Wonderful solo and explanation. Thanks. 🙏🏼
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much for the solo and the explanation Waylon ! Really like the guitar, could you give me some information about it ?
Nice one Waylon!
Thanks 👍
I always found it hard to learn solos off records, and even bits of random interest I found in tapes of jams of my own actual playing, I find it almost impossible to learn it, as if it comes from a random stranger. I can't learn two parts of anything without quickly expanding and digressing in my playing, so I find it hard not to be totally original, even if it doesn't sound that great . Now if I can only manage to learn three quaters of anything I could make a more balanced item but still have some honest improvisational input, to prevent being bored to death and hating the song, the solo, and the guitar for playing me instead of the other way around! Some good insights here, thanks. Nice musical phrasing on your solo.
That was an awesome solo mate! Damn, I never knew how bloody talented you are! Great explanation of the breakdown of your solo too! To me it had some David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth) vibes to it! And that amp tone was perfect 🤘🤘
Thanks so much :)
Thats so funny, I immediately thought of Opeth for that last bit too, haven't listened to them since I was a teenager, I was obsessed with them for a while in the early 2000's Blackwater Park was the bomb! Awesome playing by the way Waylon!
