Hey Weylon, I just clicked in and stopped the video to give some words on my Lava ME2 that I just bought blind for cheap 300 bucks as a travel and jungle fire axe that can take temperature variation and a certain humidity. So, here we go.
The packing was stunningly done with much love to detail and customer experience. This was my first impression and gave me phonestly a pretty optimistic mind set. Good marketing work. Then I really enjoyed the first touch and feel. I mean, how handsome can an object feel? Impressed again. The frets looked and felt flawless, no dead spots, polished to fit. As I strung the first open chords I was again impressed by the sound and tone. No amp involved. As I entered the active game I immediately had fun playing. To a certain point when I felt more and more struggling to play chords because of the silly narrow neck. And this becomes more and more an issue even with my idea of motivating me to handle this and benefit on my SG with increased precission and control. So, after all, she is ore and more used for solo and lead stuff, triads and noodle stick with a secong guy or a looper. Sadly because I really love this small little black dressed princess.

Ah, I forgot. The strings were way too heavy for me so as I liked to put .009 on it I recognized the missing thrust rod. So I went for .095 heavier bottom to hope for settlement. It worked so far but then I liked to order a spare nut to file it in to the new strings I couldn't get one. So grab a bone... Fret work is just cnc from hell.
It slipps a bit off the leg while sitting.
Great review. My son spends a couple weeks in Colorado every year. I think this would be a much better choice than my martin or timberline.

Wow, even 11s are too much for me lol i barely play acoustic any more as its impossible to find the right kind of string in 9s.
It does look like quite a short scale length though ?
I’d be interested in knowing how many decibels the internal speaker adds. Use a decibel meter app and compare it to some other guitars. That ‘s more accurate than just saying this many decibels.
What is the size of this guitar ? 🙏🏻
Are you playing the 36" or 38" model? Also, do you have an opinion on the difference in sound between the two sizes?
I got the spruce top lava 4 can’t seem to get it to sound very good through the amp when plugged in

Hello friend....I have 38 inch Lava Me 3 guitar and the Lava Me 4 came out right after I purchased the Lava Me 3. I upgraded the software so I have the new operating system but read that the Lava Me 4 has a more powerful chip so you have access to better effects. Just out of curiosity did you find a noticable difference between the Lava 3 & Lava 4? And you are a great guitarist.

LAVA has great ideas, but lacking in perspectives. They don't know that classical guitarists love to have fun too. For them they have to make guitar with wider neck and nylon strings. I will definitely get one if they make such guitar.
A nylon version would definitely be cool 😎!

It's a faulty product and service is terrible. I'm only able to contact them through email. It's already been returned once. It's broken again and warranty almost up. Byer Beware
