Niko Korpela Just wrote this as a comment, then I saw this thread about the Threaded Cane, so here goes my 2 cents: Well I used the Threaded Cane till I got my second Dex scalling weapon, blades of mercy. Sure, it had the lowest stats, but even with that, hitting enemies from the distance with that whip made you feel like a noble keeping in line thoose filthy plebs in the city. It ended up beeing my second weapon when it comes to pure dmg(blades of mercy are overpowered). And the pleasure of finishing an enemy while changing back from whip to sword makes me feel satisfied with what i did, that stab just before the enemy falls into the ground feels way better than cutting through enemies.

Aw yeah, the threaded cane! Used that sucker for my entire 1st playthrough. Beat every boss with it (at the expense of my sanity sometimes) then upgraded to Gehrman's giant fuck you sword/scythe combo for new game plus. More people should use the damn thing! It's great!

It was a glitch with the weapon shot when arcane gems are added. The Arcane damage added damage to EVERY SINGLE PELLET which means it's not just +60% damage added it's +60% x 10 PER SHOT! He had a video showing how OP the glitch was. IT WAS FIXED QUICKLY!

Tonitrus generally lasts long enough to get you from one lamp to the next, including bosses, so its durability isn't that much of a problem (especially since repairing weapons in Bloodborne is quite cheap). And you can use it to tear apart bagmen as soon as you get it, which is always a plus.

I love the threaded cane. The speed of the weapon is its biggest draw, while not being too spammy like the blades of mercy. it makes the game more difficult, but it has style.
Joke's on you, Threaded Cane was my old reliable. I used other dex weapons as well, but I ran against the wall with Loran Darkbeast, the threaded cane was there for me. It has incredible range.
Baloney! I used the threaded cane as my main weapon in Bloodborne! I experimented with other weapons, sure, but nothing, NOTHING beat the versatility of the threaded cane.
Threaded Cane is actually a pretty good weapon for newcomers, huge range, strong gainst beasts and somewhat to aliens. However due to its not so straight forward moveset and lack of impact, people tend to avoid it.
I keep trying to make some of these weapons for my cosplay in ds3, some are easy like the burial blade and moonlight greatsword, andmsome like the pizza cutter, kos parasite and amygdalin arm may not be possible at all any ideas for uncanny weapons like those

Ah yes I remember reduced to be a lumber jack after I defeated the moon presence. They pay a hefty amount of coin. Blood echoes don't really work after the night of the hunt but it does still bet me some stuff. Anyway the giant pizza cutter cuts wood well. But as it is, wood work is dangerous.

I use the threaded cane a lot now but early game it is very hard to do good with it.
I think its the best starting weapon. A little less damage but the move set flows with dodging a lot more. Aka: you take less damage.

Raime The Fume Knight in a video he did on why the rifle spear is overpowered, he just spammed the rifle to stun lock people in pvp.

With decent bloodtinge and the right gems you can easily kill people in PvP just by shooting everyone with it in its transformed mode apparently.
It was a glitch with the weapon shot when arcane gems are added. The Arcane damage added damage to EVERY SINGLE PELLET which means it's not just +60% damage added it's +60% x 10 PER SHOT! He had a video showing how OP the glitch was. IT WAS FIXED QUICKLY!

Tonitrus generally lasts long enough to get you from one lamp to the next, including bosses, so its durability isn't that much of a problem (especially since repairing weapons in Bloodborne is quite cheap). And you can use it to tear apart bagmen as soon as you get it, which is always a plus.

Kirkhammer - Fun to slam, but risky if used incorrectly (read, at any time in hammer mode)

.... I've beaten every boss up to.... that thing that is summoned by the blood moon with the threaded cane. people don't realize that things potential especially as a speed damage dealer from mid range.

I love the threaded cane. The speed of the weapon is its biggest draw, while not being too spammy like the blades of mercy. it makes the game more difficult, but it has style.

Baloney! I used the threaded cane as my main weapon in Bloodborne! I experimented with other weapons, sure, but nothing, NOTHING beat the versatility of the threaded cane.

The only acceptable alternative is declaring it Hammertime.
Threaded Cane is actually a pretty good weapon for newcomers, huge range, strong gainst beasts and somewhat to aliens. However due to its not so straight forward moveset and lack of impact, people tend to avoid it.
I keep trying to make some of these weapons for my cosplay in ds3, some are easy like the burial blade and moonlight greatsword, andmsome like the pizza cutter, kos parasite and amygdalin arm may not be possible at all any ideas for uncanny weapons like those
For the Kos parasite maybe some magic-buffed manikin claws? Combined with a xanthous crown, sorceries and shitbombs.

Ah yes I remember reduced to be a lumber jack after I defeated the moon presence. They pay a hefty amount of coin. Blood echoes don't really work after the night of the hunt but it does still bet me some stuff. Anyway the giant pizza cutter cuts wood well. But as it is, wood work is dangerous.
