Really like your videos. You showed me is possible to take my Wk2 Summit 2016 out in the Natur without be scared of Damage. Keep pushing your limits. Greatings From Switzerland
Amazing that a WK2 has the capability to perform like this, yet with the family, on the highway at 70 mph, it's as comfortable as sitting in your living room. My '04 WJ only has 2" lift and (equivalent to) 31s -- making it a very capable off-roader, and almost everyone that rides in it comments about the comfort, the smooth and the quiet.
Great video! Nice and relaxing to watch after work. Just traded my Wrangler JK for a Grand Cherokee WK. Nice confirmation to go off roading still. Hope you guys had fun.
Trailhawk has Wildpeak AT3W. The Overland with a 5.7 Jackson’s rig had nitro ridge grapplers I think. Mine is the white limited I’m running destination MT2s. Not sure what Jon “Grand Exploration” or Anthony in the Laredo QT1 was running either. Everyone seemed to have decent traction with their tire except the wildpeaks.
We had some guys with all terrains out there. Everyone did great. I’m not sure which ones the track hawk had on but I think he could have taken more air out then he did. But all seasons I wouldn’t recommend. Even if the traction was enough the sidewalls aren’t strong strong enough to take the abuse. Easy to puncture and pop a bead
i need an information about the yellow fog lights. i have orderd h11 LEDs with 55W but don´t look so perfekt. Are the mounted with a CREE-LED direct in the front to point out directly, too (100W)?
Great video btw... whens someone going to invent tyre pressue up / down from the drivers seat? We can get to the moon but cant do that.... 😅 Snow way much easier than sand.
🙏 thank you! They do have it. Have you ever seen the rigs that have the air hoses attached constantly to the wheels? Very common in the big arctic overlanders.
Nice video! Devastatingly my 2017 was totaled, I ran it with Falken Wildpeaks A3Ws, now the new one has just all seasons. do you guys recommend What tires were you guys running on? - I drive mostly trails, but it is not heard of for my area to get 8-12 inches of snow so 3 peak mountain is def needed, but want something capable if I want to play.
Thank you 🙏. That’s sad to hear it got totaled. I can’t remember what everyone else was running that day. But I was running Yokohama geolander MT 003 aired down to 15psi for that trip. They do great. I’ve had zero issues with them in any conditions. Most people live this tire and it’s getting pretty popular
I was running Firestone MT2 in a 32” Trailhawk had 32” falken wildpeak AT3W. Black overland had geolander ATs and can’t remember what the silver wk2 had. They were MTs also I think.
I have 33’s but it’s about the same time. I only have the single piston compressor. I wish it were faster like the dual compressor but it’s still nice. For all 4 tires from 15psi to 37psi might just be under 10min
I have a 2wd grand Cherokee bought my first car, feel like I’m missing out so much. I still love my car but I hate looking at a trail and having to turn around
@@GrandExploration question, I am extremely limited to what I can do with a 2wd grand Cherokee? Whenever I come across a rutted out trail I worry about getting a tire stuck in the air. I don’t ever drive in mud/snow however I live in az, my guess is that sand would get me stuck but how deep of sand?
My air has acted up similarly a couple times this year, except for me it will drop the whole front or back, and the air system won't respond for like an hour. Then all of a sudden...brrrbrbrbrr and it goes back up on its own and is fine. I think a relay or something is getting justled or otherwise wigging the system out. 🤷

@@GrandExploration It was a bit of a shock the weather up there this weekend. I didn't expect snow. I was in the white Jeep JL 4 door. If you are looking for a good winter adventure in the next few weeks check out 1302 trail off of Highway 12. It starts near the Windy Point campground and is open all year. It will end at an old fire watch tower (the last one in the Naches district) that overlooks Rim Rock Lake.
Wranglers are awesome! Aside from this trail with Jon I’ve done 2 badge of honor trails in my Bone stock grand Cherokee. Only cause they’re the closest to me in the tillamook state forest. I’ve been in many a sketchy spot in my grand and never gotten stuck or needed to be recovered. That said, I 100% need maxx traxs, recovery points, a winch and a lift! But for a bone stock grand Cherokee I think me and my rig did quite well!
I’ve also been snow wheelin in my grand with 71 other rigs in the Olympic national forest and made it down the trail further than a rubicon on 35s. I give more credit to the QT2 than I do myself though. The grand Cherokee is a very capable rig. It’s only limitations is driver willingness and the independent suspension front and rear. This rig will do all the things a wrangler will do.
I love seeing all of these Grand Cherokees

For sure
The Quadra trac 1 did great considering the trails you guys were on. Overall, an awesome video. Loved it. Thank you for the great photography.
