Wow nice rainbow you pulled out of that pool at 2:50 ! Nice stretches of water you covered. It just looks fishy. Small rivers fishing is overlooked. So much fun.
Thanks! I love it all. Big water and small!
Great river there buddy and fish. Awesome channel too. Ive just subscribed. Ive been planning on coming to Oregon some time. Im from New Zealand.
The Moe isn’t fished very much he in no way burned any spot. I’ve been fishing there for 5+ years constantly and saw spots I’ve never seen. Love to see the fly action, most people fish bait on the river and leave trash everywhere. Please leave the river cleaner than you found it, and most times you can find a dollars worth of cans in the bank
Beautiful river -- beautiful footage. THANKS for it!
You're welcome! Thx for watching! 🙌
Reminds me of fishing the North Fork of the Snoqualmie, years ago, when you had to buy a permit from the landowner, Weyerhaeuser. It was very cool and fun fishing!!! Thanks for posting!!! Truly IDYLLIC!!!!
That's awesome! You're welcome, thanks for watching!
I fished the Molalla today and it was perfect. Lots of dry fly action. Caddis was my choice.. Thanks for sharing..
That's fantastic! Glad to hear that!! I'm trying to decide if I want to hit the Molalla one more time before July is over (I have limited time).
How did I miss this one! Good video. 👍
Ha ha, it happens a lot! Thanks!
Great video. What a bruiser at 2:50! Love the music you use.
Thanks my dude! Yeah, I dig the music also! 🙌
@@dynamicphotography_ hey man I live near canby. I do catch and release and would love to know if this is upstream mollala or near the end in canby? I have never seen this place. Also I totally understand if you don’t want to share because as a passionate fisherman I love to take care of the species as well!
@@joramcm2293 Sounds good. This video starts out mid stream and then ends up very high in the system. So mostly very far from Canby. That's a lot of river miles. There is lot's of room to explore in the upper stretches and to find your own solitude. Yeah, it's C&R by regs here to protect.
Awesome vid! I haven’t fished up there since high school! Looks like I’ll have to go back this summer!!
Have fun. Some nice fly water here & there. Thx for watching.
Epic!
Thanks dude!
Good mix of footage! You were BUSY all day!!!
Thanks a bunch! Definitely busy! That's my style!
Great fishing
Thanks 👍
Is this in the river corridor?
Nice video buddy. I haven't fish for years.. I gotta try it again lol
Thanks dude. Yeah it's fun as long as you're catching fish!!!
Hey do you find that those cleats on the bottom of your boots help with traction on mossy rocks?
They work pretty well at first. But they wear down fairly quick and then become less effective. I replace them every spring.
I live near the molalla, and was wondering is it fly fishing only? Or can you use other types of fishing too? Because I’ve been wanting to get on the river and fish it
Traditional tackle is allowed.
What rod, reel, and line are you using?
Any smallmouth?
😎
Boom!
Where at the river was this like what is it by( like park or bridge)
Just started midway in the system and kept pulling over in gravel pullouts and scrambling down the bank. I probably hit a dozen different areas while continuing to move upstream. I went pretty high up in the system.
Any chance that you might have hooked some salmon or Steelhead smolts
Definitely. Very common here. Thx for watching!
You’re content is amazing! Can I ask how far up river you’re fishing? How far above Glen Avon? Table rock fork? Thanks for any info and the great content!
Thanks a bunch! I started out in the middle of the system, around the popular swimming holes. Then throughout the day I kept moving higher up. I never went up any forks. I just looked for anyplace I could park off the shoulder, and scrambled down to the river.
@@dynamicphotography_ Awesome, thank you very much! I look forward to checking it out!
@@dynamicphotography_ Finally made it out to there today! Absolutely epic, especially being so close to town. Tons of fish, some big trout! Drys, Euro nymphing deep runs/pools. Thanks again for your great content! After living on the Deschutes lately for the big bugs it was nice to fish all day and see nobody!
That's fantastic! I hope to head back here sometime. Did you go up higher in the system? Yeah, I never see crowds here. It's nice.@@lheftw1376
Avon/mouth of north Fork. I’ll go back this week and go higher up👍🏻 As you know the further up you go the smaller the fish get, but fun nonetheless!
Is this the molalla river as in the one near Colton oregon?
Yeah, Colton is way downstream by the highway. But this footage is miles upstream in the foothills.
@@dynamicphotography_ sweet. Gonna have to explore it sometime this spring or summer. Is there any public access? Not asking to Hotspot, just looking for a start.
@@silvercreekflyfishing Yeap, plenty of access upstream. There's a forest road that parallels the river. Lot's of pullouts to use. Lot's of good water to explore.
Where is this and how do I get there
Info in the description. Thanks for watching! Sounds like you may have enjoyed it!
👍 new friend here stay connected dear
Don't know why you have to be so specific about the location. Great way to blow the spot up. Thx
He didn’t burn any spot
Most definitely did
If you don't mind what part of the river is this is this in the corridor I'm not familiar with the area I'm just going to be visiting with family
Please don’t out or identify the streams. Sweet stream with nice trouts. Soon becomes trash left everywhere and no trouts.
Thx for watching.
Handle the fish GENTLY. Or, better yet, don’t handle them.
Thanks for watching!
