It can just about do it all ,like Lynn C Thompson said you can do everything with a big blade you can do with a small one , but you can't do everything with a small blade your able to do with a big blade. See what he mean. 🦉😊🦉
It is useful for trail/camp clearing duty. The handle length gives a lot more chopping ability than you'd expect from a blade of that length normally. Makes it act more like a 10 inch blade. Might want to Loctite the pivot screw or bring a T10 Torx bit. The vibrations from chopping will make the screw back out a bit otherwise, but it's easy enough to address. :) If you use Loctite, won't be an issue at all.

Yeah the Loc Tite is useful, because you don't want to lose the pivot screw or bolt, good advice for trail clearing. 😊
