Music Video Directing Reality Game Show! - Making The Cut

What if 2 music video directors competed in a competition where they both directed a music video to the same song for the same artist...
And what if they also only had 24 hours to write, shoot, direct, edit, & deliver that said music video to the artist for a chance to not only win cash $ & bragging rights, but also become that artists official music video?
Well we just created and launched a new competition reality show that is just that!
“Making The Cut” is a music video challenge show where 2 directors compete to deliver a music video for the same artist & song in under 24 hours.
I came up as a music video director…shooting, directing, and editing countless run n gun videos with some insane turnaround times…and I thought to myself…this could make for an entertaining experience for the filmmaking community to see others do the same, but in a fun gameshow like format.
These 2 directors are going to be put to the ultimate test as they hear this artists’ song for the very 1st time and then immediately have to compete to deliver a music video under our crazy creative constraints in the attempt to not only win the show but also become become the artist’s official music video. It’s a 4 part episodic series available to watch over on our “All Access” platform.
